    In the most recent update, the 'helpers' section has been changed. Now you should go to piano roll, click the arrow and then go down to 'view' and you will see the options he is talking about.

    These are some great tips. Of course, you'll want to use a lot of them sparingly (such as the randomization and arpeggiator). Or you can use them as a starting point when drafting melodies, etc, and then manually fine tune the sequence to fit your compositional intention.

    Personally I think that randomizing velocity is not a good idea since it does sound natural, but it also sounds like an inexperienced piano player is playing

    Yeah agree ! one must manually alter the vel. of notes, like in my case i just keep the lower notes at low volume and high at higher volume, this really gives the melody a better flow than just randomizing the velocities.

    He probably wanted to keep everything diatonic, within the same key, in this case F major. I feel you though, the b-flat-minor-chord sounded dope at the end, but I can see why he would want to keep the harmonies more simplified for this example.

    There are rarely channels that provide tutorials with explanations that are so easy to understand. Most of them are senior or professional remixers, very lacking in sharing knowledge or explanation. Really your channel is very useful, especially for remixers who are beginners.
