Just like always what a wonderful job/information. What fusible lining can I use on cotton? Also what would you recommend to give extra support. The older I get the more I use my pockets. Have a nice week.

Thank you 😊 I use Vlieseline but I am not sure if this brand is available worldwide. The thickness depends on what you are trying to achieve and were you use it. You want to line your pockets ? Or the full skirt ?

In that case I don’t recommend using fusible. The best would be to add a proper lining on the inside of the skirt. Light cotton or silk are the best. Good quality polyester if you are on a budget. Happy sewing !
Even though I am very appreciative of this video tutorial, I would have kept the dress and put a shirt of sweater over it to turn it into a skirt. My dress on the other hand has too many details ton top that needs to be removed and turned into a skirt. Also my dress has a print pattern that does not look good on me as dress but could work as a skirt. All in all thank you for this tutorial. You did an amazing job.
