Thanks for sharing y our fishing adventures with us. What have you found to be the best way to rig your T-Turn on planner boards and down riggers? How do you rig your down rigger so when you catch a fish, you do not have to bring the cannon ball back to the surface. Sorry one last question, I fish for big Brown and Rainbow Trout hear in SC. We fish about 100' of water, and you are skimming over trees. Just a note, when they built Lake Jocassee, they cut all trees and brush down to 110'. The Brown Trout lurk in those submerged trees. Would your Cat Tail rigging allow me to better skim over the tops of those trees, with fewer hang ups?

Gald you enjoyed this walleye episode :) You can use the T-Turn off your planner board or down rigger, just as you would any 3-way swivel. One idea is to run a divining lure (like the American Smelt) off the bottom of the t-turn and then a short line off the middle to a spoon (like a viper spoon rigged with a worm) When using a down rigger, after you land a fish, you will need to bring the cannon ball up again so you can re-rig it.....as for the cattail, it works great as it is made to walk over top of rocks and structure and helps to keep you snag free :)

I miss this kind of Walleye fishing...my Poppi used to take me out in his Lund (which was passed down to my dad after we lost my Poppi) and we'd get the planer boards way out there, and I got some pretty monster 'eyes with him...my biggest was 14.86 lbs...I'd love to be able to do this again...maybe one day I'll be able to afford my own boat lol Kind of off topic...but I don't remember seeing you guys do any videos on it yet, but perhaps I missed it...you guys ever do small stream fishing for trout, specifically, Brook Trout (specks, we call them around here)? Was just curious because I used to do that almost every day as a kid, but then moved to the city, and hadn't done it in many years. I just recently moved though, and am about 10km North of the closest town...and I have found a few tiny creeks just loaded with specks...been bringing a few home and throwing them right in the frying pan...different kind of fishing, but could be an interesting video! Anyway...as always, thanks a lot guys...I haven't been able to fish much the past couple years cause of health issues, but your videos usually give me the push I need to get out there and get some fish on the line! I love this channel, as I am sure you guys are aware by now! Keep 'em coming, and I will keep on watching lol

Hi Josh - great to hear from you in Niagara County :) You can certainly catch walleye from the bank - best time would be just at dusk and into the night or right at the crack of dawn - the walleye will move into the shallows to feed. Good luck out there
