Thank you for posting this! I also have a bantam house hen. Layla's beak is starting to hook significantly. All the videos show full size chickens, not little bantams. Layla is an Old English Game bantam, so she is tiny, like your Ren. It just makes me feel better watching someone clip another tiny birds beak. I like that you use the human clipers to shape her beak. My Layla is super calm like your Ren. ❤

Hello! My chicken is more than 1 month and i'm having trouble getting him used to diaper made of socks.Can you tell how long it will take her to get used to it or give any suggestion?

I never used socks but it's normal for your chicken to walk backwards or lower their head for a while when you first put it on. I would offer treats and if they don't come, then they are probably genuinely uncomfortable. But if they do, then they're more just protesting the diaper. My recommendation is to buy chicken diapers.

Hello I'm needing help. All I can find on the internet is people trimming the top beak but I this afternoon I just got a chicken and her bottom beak is incredibly over grown. Before I trim her beak tomorrow I want to be sure I can actually trim her bottom beak, im also doing lefty of research before I trim her tm morning

Just like we need to trim our fingernails, their beaks need to be kept trim so they can peck and eat correctly
