How to Travel the World Cheap and Long Term! Volunteering; working; visas; freelancing; and more!

World travel is often seen as a fantasy, a dream reserved for those with lots of money, lots of skills, and the right life circumstances. Money, as well as a lack of obligations/responsibilities, certainly helps. I've been fortunate enough to travel while single, unpromised to any job or partner or children. I'm also fortunate to have an American passport and to speak English. Aside from this though, I've really paved my own way, and I've been struck by just how easy, accessible, and delightful this lifestyle can be.
Priorities have to be chosen, of course. You do give up certain things to travel--certain jobs, certain elements of a stable social life, some degree of efficiency in terms of expenditure, time, routine, and so on. But the benefits have far outweighed the sacrifices for me, and I strongly believe many many people would find the same if they had the courage and the knowledge to step out and travel.
In this episode my sister and I, both long-term world travelers, discuss the methods and manners of long-term sustainable travel. We dive into our own personal experiences, how they have shaped us, and things we would possibly change in retrospect. We consider how our mentalities about life and travel have shifted over the years, and how we see them continuing to shift in the future. We discuss the multitude of creative ways people manage to travel, and how truly easy many of them are.
It's a long one, but there are excerpts on the channel for your convenient digestion.
Enjoy!

Great video idea! College made sense for me, but I'm certainly game to take a year off every few years to experience the world more. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the excerpts -- timestamps on the different topics in the description couldn't hurt either!
