It’s pretty awesome
Always ask someone when you're in doubt or when you got lost. Fret not, everyone is helpful and almost all can communicate in English.. at least enough to go by.

One of the best we’ve ever stayed at.
Explanation on toilet culture : Muslims use their left hand with water. They do not use tissue. That is why there is a bidet in the toilet(bum pump). They eat with right hand. However, most toilets do hv paper for non-muslims but not inside the cubicles. It is near the wash basins usually near the hand dryer. So you take the paper before entering the cubicles. But petrol stations do not have toilet tissue.

cool
The swiss jungfraujoch top of europe train probably is the oldest but it took many years to complete. Penang could have been the first in asia but the british built the hong kong one first. But at 2km, it is the longest in asia and one of the steepest in the world.

@@ADVENTURECAMPitelli the hong kong funicular is 1300 plus metres. So less than 2km. But it was built first in asia. Penang was intended to be the first one but administrative issue caused delays. But we are still the longest in asia.

@@ADVENTURECAMPitelli yes history of funicular in asia. Of course vietnam too has funicular at fansipan but i saw video it is of short distance only. Their cable car though is well known (longest in the world). Switzerland is well known for funicular and tunneling work. In fact our new train was built in switzerland. The british did a good job in asia. The swiss initially consulted british engineers too at jungfraujoch (You can watch youtube on 1880s construction using italian workers). The British were the pioneers in locomotives. Many workers died during the top of europe construction. This is the sacrifice so that the elite of europe can enjoy the view of the glaciers.
Hi... just wondering which hotel you were staying at.
