Impressive work my man! Doing a transmission swap is some next level wrenching. I would have loved to see some footage of you going through the gears driving the beast around town. How did it drive? Did the mpg's improve?

I wish I filmed more too! It shifted so nicely, and I definitely noticed an increase in fuel longevity! It also helped that I removed the cat I reckon

@DukeManlyMakes I bet it did 👍 Back in the day I converted my 66 mustang 4 speed to a 5 speed plus high flow dule exhaust and it got 20 mpg cruising on the highway with a 4 barrel carb. I'm on the hunt for an astro and was searching to see if anyone did a 4L80 to a 6L80 swap at see what kind of mpg it would get and if it would be worth it. But only found your video with a transmission swap and I commend you for it
