can you only transcribe a certian part of your vido for captions? I added captions for 1 clip but i dont wnat to have double the captions on a single clip

Hi Dusty, I recently updated my Premiere to the 2023 version. In the 2021 version I was using, there was a popup that allowed me to format the transcriptions (change the language, identify speakers, etc.). I want to do a transcription in Spanish -- any way to change the language? The popup doesn't come up anymore and it automatically transcribes into English! Any ideas?

I tried this and it did such a monstrously horrible job I want to undo it, but I can't seem to find any way to undo or re do it. there is a re-transcribe option but it's greyed out.

Yeah...the transcribe option is not so good...I don't understand how so many KZread video are talking about it like its all that and a bag of chips. One guy even said it "blew his mind"...LOL.

You can undo the transcription by highlighting it in the timeline section of the sequence where it is inserted. Highlight it, then hit the delete key. This will delete it from the "transcript" section as well...and you will be able to redo it, if desired.

My auto transcription will never get done transcribing no matter what i change it never actually gets done!!! any words of advice would be greatly apprecieated
