Hey, love the videos. I wanted to ask if you were offered 18 pack equivalents of Crown Zenith tins & boxes, and 6x Charizard EX Collection boxes (36 total S&V and Obsidian Flame Packs) for around 78-84% MRSP, would you do it? I've been really hesitant to spend because I don't know enough about the card market, except for a sizeable purchase of 151 at well below MRSP so I'm just curious if you would do it. The whole lot is $205 USD or $280 CAD. It works out to 3.80 a pack not counting the promos & miscellaneous stuff you get. I'm not sure what I'd do if I got all the boxes and tins, if it would be better to rip them and keep them loose and sell the promo cards now or just keep them stored as is. That’s a tough one, I like the crown zenith boxes/tins but SV base and Obsidian flames are the weakest SV sets so far. When you say 78-84% MSRP are you talking about % of the current market value or the big box MSRP value? I think if you are looking for a way to make money by reselling this stuff short term it wouldn’t be worth the time lowkey. If you are buying this stuff to hold and keep sealed I’d say not a bad play to get in cheap. Apologies for the rambling and thanks for watching!

It’d also depend on how easily you would be able to sell all of this stuff like if you have a eBay or TCGplayer store with good reviews etc…

@@JBTCG Thank you for the response! The 78-84% is an amalgamation of the prices I saw online, big box, pricecharting/tcgplayer and local listings. I saw that the Charizard boxes on Ebay on the lowest end, sold in auction recently for $36 CAD. Most averaged around 40-44 CAD. Each box has 6 packs, worth around $3.75 CAD each. All the card stores in my surrounding area have it priced at $50 in store. I guess I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth the deal. It's a lot of really new packs that are below MSRP but the boxes that I'm being offered are so cheap because the packs are worth nothing lol. I just realized it wouldn't even be worth it at all to open the boxes up for loose packs. I didn't realize the Obsidian Flames packs were so cheap. It is one of the better deals I've seen recently though and it comes with a decent amount of Crown Zenith so I'm just conflicted. It works out to $5 a pack if I average out 56 packs to the $280 cost, which is 85% of MRSP for CZ in my area, but only 18/56 packs are CZ. BUT there are promos and what not that are worth a little bit but I'm not sure if it offsets the value that I'm losing on paying full price for a lot of Obsidian Flames packs. I'm trying to hold the majority of my stuff for long term. Hopefully sell off little by little along the way. I'm not active enough currently to know market trends and all that, but I try with your videos and just browsing in my off time. I'm like backed up 3 generations though, I really stopped tapping in since Black and White. Sorry for the rambling as well, I appreciate the advice. I'll think on the deal for the night, I may just hold off and try to find another lot listing for more desirable packs.

@@JBTCG Ah I do not have an eBay, I just made one and I'm trying to get it started by selling a bunch of my 1st edition WOTC bulk that I had from a long time ago, at auction starting at like .99 and some loose code cards for a quarter that I also have from a long time ago.
