    1. Do not use ready mix adhesive on floors as it isn’t deformable enough (grout will crack). 2. Do not for heavens sake use PVA as a primer before you tile, PVA, even when watered down will form a peelable barrier in which the adhesive can uncouple (when PVA gets wet again it can reactivate again). Use an appropriate tile primer (Mapei Primer G etc). 3. Use a minimum of a 3mm spacer between the tiles (this can also be found in budget tile levelling systems made by QEP. If you want to be sure your grout won’t crack, use an uncoupling membrane on the concrete before laying tiles. Search for Ditra, Durabase or Mapeis own branded one.

    Never prime a floor to be tiled with watered down PVA. Once the pva dries and becomes wets again it re activates. Use a proper tile bonding agent, Webber, tilemaster etc 👍
