The only excuse is for older anglers who struggle seeing to tie knots. I agree otherwise it’s a major part of the skill of fishing.

I sat and listened to Alan Blair talk, he was saying ready mades make companies a lot of money and they sell loads. That’s all it comes down to. Money

@@Kingcarparpeggio im not sour, each to their own. if you want to be a sheep and follow the next best thing thats fine. was rod hutchinson, kevin nash, duncan kay, peter springate etc using ronnie rigs, the answere is no. they caught because of angling skill not because the used a certain rig.
