How to Tie an IMPROVED DOUBLE CLINCH KNOT! | "Knot Easy!" Series | Fishing Knot Tutorial
The Improved Double Clinch knot is now officially the strongest clinch knot variation in the Knot Easy series. It combines two of the clinch knot variations I've shown so far (the improved clinch knot and the double clinch knot) to produce what is ultimately the clinch knot's final form. This is an all around great knot for both monofilament and fluorocarbon (much like the other clinch knots), and if you're currently tying the clinch knot for everything like many casual anglers out there, it will be easy for you to transition into the stronger and more advanced knots with this one right here.

Awesome video and very easy to follow especially with the drak background snd the bright line makes it easier to follow along, im completely new to fishing and i have a question, in your opinion which knot is better the double uni knot or double clinch knot you just did, they both look really strong

I’ll take the trilene knot , it’s easier to tie and I never had one pull out or break .

With fluoro - double SDJ is stronger. With mono, I’m not certain - probably very similar in strength
Does this knot work great for braid or does it still have the same weakness as the improved clinch knot?

I wouldn't recommend any of the clinch-style knots for braid - these are designed more for line that tend to "bite" into itself (mono/fluoro). For braid, I would suggest the Palomar knot, double uni knot, or the Berkeley braid knot (I have tutorials for these on the channel as well!) - Thanks for watching! 🙏
