I tie that overhand, or granny knot for the weight. But tungsten weights aren't cheap so I don't want to lose any of them. Thanks Miles. ✌️

Have you experimented with and found any good rigs to prevent line twist with dropshots? I seem to get quite a bit of twist when fishing it, probably more than any other rig I use. I've tried putting a swivel 6" or so above the hook which helps but adds a couple more knots that can break. I've also tried beads and bobber stops around an untied hook, but unless you put a swivel below the hook you can end up dragging bobber stops down to the weight when fighting a fish, potentially burning the line, etc. There are some commercial hooks with a swivel built through the eye of the hook, but those seem to be all pretty bulky which is not really what you want when finesse fishing. Thanks for all the great videos and info.

Yeah, to be honest, I have just dealt with the line ties as they come. Having a weight that had a good swivel is part of the solution, but other than that I don’t want to add anything else to the rig like you mentioned and so I just deal with the occasional line twist. Thanks for watching!

My knot always ends up to the side of the hook eye and messes up the action. Going to try the palomer where the hook is down like you show. They need to come out with a snellable power shot hook
