How to throw GREAT hyzers in 3 steps | Disc Golf Basics

Спорт

In this video Johannes, who has been playing disc golf for 25+ year, is showing me, Jonathan (a beginner), how to throw hyzer shots in 3 steps. I´ve always felt like I´m trapped with the hyzers. Not being able to decide when do actually throw one. It might also be that I´m confused as to what an hyzer actually is and how it´s different from not just throwing super high all the time 😂. Doing both in this video tho, haha.
Hopefully you´ll enjoy the video and learn a thing or two!
/Jonathan
A quick thing:
We will pick different coloured discs the next time. I saw in the edit that it is a bit tricky to see the flight sometimes.

F***ing love these videos. Said it before and I’ll say it again; It’s awesome seeing someone that’s not a pro go through these exercises with professional instruction. Great job as usual! I think you identified an issue that you, and many others, don't even know they have. It's when you do field practice, you don't throw with a purpose. During field practice it's important to aim and try to hit a line. Also, don't go "full bore" on every throw. Practice all the shots, not just full power ones. Keep up the great content! 👍❤

Hey. It´s from a music downloading for videos kinda thing. But the artist is called MARiAN and the track is called Tokyo Beat. And I totally agree about the track.

When I was starting out and tried to throw hard I would always pull it over into an anhyzer 🤷 some people just work differently

@William Burk - I totally relate to this. As a newbie myself I've made gazillion of anny thows without knowing "the why" until a dear friend of my watched my clip and pointed out. He was kindly enough to tell me because of my excellent posture, I have a tendency of leaning straight/backwards when throwing thus it naturally created anny shots 🤦
