Thank you for the instructions, particularly for the automatic threader. Instruction on how to attach the presser foot would be a great addition. Just a heads up, the letter on the display channel tells you which foot to use for the stitch you choose. When stitch 26 was chosen the foot recommendation changed to N from the J foot that was currently in use. Luckily there wasn’t a problem, but using the wrong presser foot can result in breaking the needle, which can result in a shard getting embedded in an unfortunate place - like your eye or a nearby toddler. Everyone, _please_ read your machine instruction manual cover to cover and set your machine up properly before each use.

For the automatic thread I couldn't tell if you put the thread behind the needle or what. I needed a different angle

The best needle-threader video I've found is at kzread.info/dash/bejne/fYus2riLYNaXZaw.html. She has good lighting, keeps her hands out of the way, shows several angles, and explains things perfectly. I could not figure the stupid thing out from any other video.

My machine will only sew backwards! Do you know a reason for this?

You didn’t finish the bobbin threading and the TV blaring was distracting. Otherwise it would have been a good tutorial and I wish you would redo it.

If you’re threading the needle yourself make sure you’re threading it correctly (from front to back, I believe). The first time I threaded the needle I threaded it incorrectly and the top and bottom threads wouldn’t weave together. If that’s not it clean out your bobbin compartment. I *think* I read a long time ago that dust in the bobbin case could cause that issue.
