I just opened mine a few mins ago and hooked everything up. I've watched three tutorials, but your by far was the most helpful. I am Now subbed to your channel and I will be in the Fabric store some time tomm after work. Thanks for this tutorial without it a lot of us would be just lost and clueless lmao.

Just got the CE1125PRW Sewing Machine to start making my own clothes, as well as my kids and to start up my own at home business, and I gotta say.. THANK YOU! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I got the idea of threading my machine (as it was extremely different from my antique one), within less than 5 minutes. It took me about 30 minutes to even figure out the directions, so I found the first and obviously, the best video to help me get started. I appreciate you so much!

thanks i have an old singer but wanted to try a new "fancy" machine. I couldn't get past step four for the upper threading. Very helpful thanks!!!!

@Mari Clark I would say yes because I used it for denim. I wouldn't suggest many layers of it tho because this machine I don't think could handle that. But I have used denim with it when I had it. I have gotten another machine since not because the machine had problems I just wanted one with more features. : )

I can tell you this. I'm 12 and I was able to understand this. It was very easy to understand so thank you so much. We had F.A.C.S class at school a year ago. And I Absolutely loved the sewing portion. So I asked for a sewing machine for Christmas. It has been in the box since Christmas. So I'm excited to start using it!

I am a beginner and recently purchased a sewing machine. The CD that came with it was not helpful as far as threading the machine is concerned. The print in the instruction manual is very small and hard to read, so this was very helpful!. Thanks so much for making this video!.

I definitely need to get back to sewing. I have a lot on my plate but the plan is definitely to start getting back to it. I’ve purchased a cricut maker that definitely has me crafting more. Thank you🌹💚 I still consider myself to be a beginner because I only sew if something comes up haha and surprisingly I have just felt my way around it. The first thing I would say is learning the proper terminology for sewing helps tremendously. You'll start to understand how and why things have to be done they way they are and also I find it helps a project go from your head to a completed one. I would start off with small projects. Anything that can help you learn whatever machine you have and do tons of research. I used to sit up for hours late at night and just google how to sew (fill in the blank) and I would watch videos and read articles to start learning the language. It really did help me out. Hope this wasn't too long an explanation. I'll have to start doing more tutorials both my serger and sewing machine haven't gotten their fair share of love lately lol. This helps a lot. My first project will be to make 2 lumbar pillows for the front entrance bench. I'm super excited. +Ashley Scales Hey love. No but that's the basic setup for sewing so the next steps would depend on the type of project your doing. It wouldn't be a generalized next step if that makes sense. For instance if your doing something with straight stitches or one of the decorative stitches it would be different steps. So just check the manual depending on what you are planning to work on. When I had the machine the manual was really helpful. Happy New Year!

Alright, so I found your video very VERY helpful; my sister supposedly knows how to use this sewing machine, and set it up and it worked, but when I tried to do it, it didn't. I've been trying to figure it out, but the machine won't actually make stitches; it goes through the fabric, but despite my best efforts of setting it up correctly, I don't know what's wrong. The needle's in right, the thread is all the way through.. Any suggestions? It's one never ending stitch :I ;;

Oh my goodness thank you for this! I do so much better with a video than trying to look at pictures in a manual.

Hello 💜. I would suggest looking on the Brother website to see if they have any replacement pieces. Amazon would be another place to check. I’m not sure if you have the manual but I would check the manual to see what is suggested for replacement parts. I wouldn’t DIY it just in case your warranty is still good. That’s what I would do if I still had the machine and needed to find parts. Hope this helps.
