I'm very happy for Levon. He's one of my favorite grandmasters of all time. ☕️🙂

@@User37426 Hey Wormhole, thank you. I always wished that Aronian lived in America like Nakamura, So, and Caruana. Then a few years ago I got the news that he moved here from Armenia. ☕️😀

Definitely one of them. Fabi and Rosen come to mind too. So many wholesome class acts in this scene. The fanbase is pretty rough around the edges so I'm glad the top players give us tons of great role models to admire

Balance is important..know when to push for win.. and when to relax for a draw...
Brilliant move!!
I also know when to play and not to play. When I smash my phone or keyboard, I don't play.
Indian players now won't go for a draw in classical when he is tired😂
He deserved it!Congratulation to him but where was Magnus?

Dude he's playing in pro chess league
Ya but Ian had to win to even get to tie breaks. So he had no choice but to grind out a win
great event, thx for bringing yasser into the booth, both of you guys have the rare skill of making the difficult game of chess seem easy, helping both beginner and advanced players alike
Sandeep maheshwari chess bhi khelne lga

That's actually astonishing. But they are different in heights
the most deserving winner in the tournament .Happy for him ,
nice strategy ... nice aronion ..
TopPlayer with TopMentality 💙⭐️
When they asked him the question about the pawn push all that came to my mind that he will answer chess speaks for itself
Well in fact everyone knows when and when not to play depending on their mood but at the lower levels people play regardless just to regret it later
The secret of champions is that they are not always champions, it's all about how to feel and how energic they are A tired Magnus Carlsen would not be as good as an energic Hikaru for example

Accurate. We saw that in the 2022 SCC for sure. (I'm happy for Magnus that he's getting to play more relaxedly though and not allowing himself to remain pressured to defeat everyone at everything all the time)
Ah yeah Liverpool strategy
mentalty of super grandmaster
That’s what separated Fischer from these kind of players . He ALWAYS played to win . Why ? Because that was ALWAYS his ‘ mood ‘.
Levon looks like sandip maheswari ,not perfectly but kinda 😆
Levons shirt must be distracting for his opponent
This short's Title AKA: How to think like a grandmaster. This is a book name its crazy!
Grande Aronian
The thing that most don't take into consideration is how physically and mentally draining chess can be especially while competing
I'd rather celebrate chess strategy rather than mere tournament strategy. Nepo had every right to be upset about having to play the tiebreaks after a marathon game. If anything this just demonstrates the downside of the tournament organizers decision to hold the tiebreaks on the same day.

I feel like chess is just as much of a physical sport as it is a mental sport. If there wasn't a time limit and every tournament was spread out over weeks and months, chess would lose a lot of it's flavour.

Everybody would just be looking for the computer move instead of playing their own game and style and intuition

@@kotu_pnd4 I suggested postponing a series of rapid games to the next day, which would be appropriate since they are a different time format and after the games which were intended to identify the winner. You're, out of absolutely nowhere, talking about breaking up a tournament and even the games themselves(?) into a several month affair -- even suggesting no time limit?
levon Aronian is a 'beast
I like his shirt
Lost to sandeep maheshwari 😂
W LEVON
So draw and win, not lose! Got it!
Huh! If I don such shirt I can smother mate my opponent every game... Hu
Beating gukesh is not a big feat
What they write on paper
Levon is shaking his head for 90% of the video😃

Sure, you totally know better than super GMs, that's why you're beating them in tournaments right? Lol jeez the ego in this community
Very smart when you don't want to win 😏
