🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:01 🧠 Our minds process numerous thoughts daily, including emotions, concerns, and memories. 00:29 🤔 Modern brains generate more thoughts than necessary, leading to negative or anxious thinking. 01:28 😨 Thoughts can become unsettling and frequent when given attention and energy. 01:55 🧐 Viewing thoughts with curiosity rather than judgment helps detach from their content. 02:27 🧘 Observing thoughts without engagement is a practiced skill that reduces their impact. 03:00 💭 Letting go of unwanted thoughts and not fearing them weakens their influence. 03:32 ⚡️ With no energy, thoughts lose power, allowing you to respond and empower yourself. 04:09 💪 Seeking support and observing thoughts enables better responses and connection to what matters. Would it be accurate to say that we all have freaky, disturbing and scary thoughts and that they are part of life, and need not frighten us?

Exactly. If you feel like they are normal, while you can give yourself compassion for feeling them, you wont attach to them. And they just fade away.

Do we have to believe our thoughts ? Or do we have a choice

U have a choice and sometimes you should know which is true and which isn’t simple by using logic and writing down all those anxious thoughts and look at it day by day and u will see how paranoid you were before

You have a choice which is the message of this video. First, you have to realize that they are ideas and not truths.

@@doctorjodi I’m struggling with and for 6 months now and I can see the patterns of my thoughts modifying it even more realistically and out of nowhere there’s this one thought that came into me without a reason aswell but the same context on what’s was having me anxious before which I was confident before that’s not gonna happen 🤷‍♀️ Idk if it’s true or not and sometimes I have these thoughts saying its true mostly

Can be true? Challenge negative thoughts! Ask if they are true or you just assume them to be in case.

All these sites say you are not your thoughts. Well, what if that is not true ? What if your anxiety is because your 2nd marriage ( to a narcissistic woman) bankrupted you, and the physical and emotional abuse effected you and your job. So now you are in trouble at work, behind in life and financially bankrupt! This causes all my anxiety ! I was a basket case today. So it is not just thoughts … it is facts!

The facts are the contexts of your life. That’s what’s happening. Then you have stories and reactions to all of those, which is anxiety. You are not anxiety, you are not your context. And you have the power to think about and respond to your context that is best for you. This doesn’t mean it’s not real. Your context is real and it is awful. But it is not YOU. You got away from her. You get to decide what is next for you.
