Best script I’ve made is a dang GUI that only certain ppl can see, like on my game I put an admin only team that only specific ppl (admins) can see the purple team button. If anyone want that, just tell me cuz it pretty easy.

I already do most of this stuff and i can say that i am getting much better thank you for taking your time to help others and also one thing I recommend is i have a notepad on my computer full of all codes ive ever used (even broken ones ) because sometimes i like to mix up some codes or fix some bugs so again ty for helping other begging creators

How I learned scripting was by dissecting Free Models and studying them under a microscope. Most KZread tutorials just put the script in the description; then people will just copy the model and not learn anything.

I don't reccomend this. Many models have depreciated code, and bad practices. Additionally, when you are a beginner many models will be conceived as advanced. When you copy/paste code and inspect it, you can do that, however I will not reccomment getting scripts via (toolbox)

If you havent already, you should do a video (if not an entire series) on error checking. This is likely the most valuable skill set for ANY new developer, Roblox or otherwise. That said, "testing / error checking in Roblox development" videos are virtually nonexistant. Based on the comment section, it seems like a lot of people are giving up because their scripts aren't working, and they don't know how to effectively find their mistakes.

Just keep searching for the right teacher. Some people just teach the fundamentals and basics of being a game dev (like devking) but some channels will go into specific detail on how to create certain mechanics. I’m super newbie at coding in Lua but after a month of watching tons of different channels and tutorials and even just copying & pasting script (in my own writing ofc) , I still can’t build my own ideas from scripts like if I wanted to do something specific I wouldn’t know where to start. but after a month of watching these tutorials and copying scripts, I’ve learned how to fix script errors and make certain scripts work with other scripts in my game. Which feels like more then enough for what I at least think I’ve learned! It all takes time, some learn fast some learn slower! Just don’t give up like 99% of us want to at the beginning, and that’s really what will make you good at scripting or whatever you’re interested in learning in the end 👍

Important tip: MAKE A GOOGLE DOCUMENT AND TAKE NOTES! No matter how good you understand the topic it's the best of your interest to keep notes so you can refer to them later so you don't have to find the video again and again in case you forget (chances are you will) This tip helped me a lot and I personally use Google docs so I can read these notes constantly during my free time so I can review them and it trust me, it helps a lot. TheDevKing is by far the best KZreadr for scripting that I found. He explains everything in detail and doesn't just skip stuff.

okay so heres what I am gonna do. So I'm probably going to do a lot of teleporting in my games, and so I'm gonna find a teleport script and write it down, then whenever I need it I'll just get my notebook and read it. I'm also gonna do that for other scripts, u know what I mean. Btw great videos dude! they are pretty helpful lololollll

@@potate5429 then try unity! there's ton of channels about it. for ex. Brackeys, Blackthornpord! maybe you'll gain some knowledge and then start learning roblox!(i'm not roblox gamedev so don't just take my word for it).

I think it would be cool if you did a ticketed virtual class kida like zoom or something. You could charge ppl to come to these virtual classes and have a limited amount at a time so that it is easier to slow down just a bit for ppl who might not really pick things up as quickly as others. also, if you had a couple of your friends help you, you will be able to teach more people.

For those who don't know what the ACS gun system it stands for Advanced Combat System and its basically Phantom Forces gun realistic.
