Speech Therapy for Autistic kids and children with a language delay is more than just words. The ability to form sentences, ask questions, share joy etc requires more language skills than just words.
We all want our kids to speak in sentences and have conversations but we are missing the foundational skills a child needs in order to have a conversation. I've explained the conversation ladder, which is a series of language skills a child needs before they can have a conversation.
A speech therapist will work on increasing these skills in speech therapy. Now i can't just tell you to teach these skills first and leave it at that can i? 😀

Hi mam. My daughter 2year 10 month ..nowadays she is repeating three words phrases that we say ..but everytime we have to make her say the sentence for every situation ..or she will learn it by herself ahh mam

Yes Sathya u definitely have to teach her more sentences. But first u need to understand about how she is understanding language inorder to help her. Read about gestalt language processing. Or text me on whatsapp and I'll send u a write up i have.

My son is 3.6 year old… he has lots of words . But he not make natural conversation.. or he won’t ask he questions like what where or why … he won’t involve in natural conversation.. If he wants something he ask me .. he answeryes or no question He is not responding to name at school At home he is getting better in name responding. He makes eye contact at home so well but outside if someone is talking he won’t How to improve natural conversation and eye contact with others. He also make noise sometimes
