My kid is 4 years, she is repeating few words, but when when i ask she never reply what is that. Before she reads alpahbets , in june we had a vacation and went India within that one she changed and her interst to read the alphabet also gone. Now she is not reading that much, now instead of the actual letter name she is making some sounds for the alphabet. But she now what is that. I am totally fed up and droped from high. I don't know what to do😭😭

Hey, I am a mother of 3 year old boy. My toddler has been throwing tantrums since june 2023. till then he was absolutely fine. His daily routine was good, like sleeping time and going to day care, coming back from daycare enjoying his time post school with his grandpa, etc. Now he doesn't want to sit at home, he shouts screams and rebels, takes my hand and makes me go outside with him. Entire day he wants to spend his time outside, he doesnt bother to learn talking. We have been trying all methods to make him sit at home, atleast for 45 mins to 1 hour. But we are not able to do so. Its really getting scary day by day. even at midnight or early morning like 4 am, he demands us to take him out, by pulling our hand and showing towards door, making us to go outside with him. I am feeling very bad and horrible. Is it normal? Day care people blame me for his smooth upbringing without giving him any tough time or scolding him controlling him. They say he has become stubborn a lot, When will this stop?

Hi. What does he want to do outside? Wanting to go out often could be a sign of a sensory (movement) need. Consult an OT. If at 3 he is not speaking it is a speech delay. Please enroll in speech therapy sessions. The more he is not able to speak, the more his behaviours would increase. Seems like u are in a difficult space. Give yourself some grace. Learn about positive discipline. It’s good u r reading about it. Take help from professionals. It will get better.

@@PriankaEvangelineSLP he just wants to roam outside especially two wheeler ride, walk outside, sometimes play in parks. He always drags me or my husband or my father to move outside house, if not taken him out he screams a lot and throws tantrums. He is least bothered to learn talking, I have been trying since he was 9 months old. But, he babbles, tells alphabets and numbers, but may not be perfectly. He says words like hi, bye, go. That’s it. He tells rhymes but babbles, and makes hand movements. As soon as he comes from daycare in the evening, he screams a lot, standing on his grandpas two wheeler and doesn’t want to come to house. Again, my father has to go out with him, in two wheeler. And all. Am literally worried about this movements & behaviour of him.
