How to Take Visual Notes

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This video shows how to make quick sketches that serve as visual records for reference, to facilitate visual thinking and understanding, and used to develop visual ideas. It illustrates methods for keeping visual notebooks. Visual notes are simply the graphic equivalent to taking written notes. Anyone can take visual notes just by jumping in and taking some of the queues from this video. You don’t need to be an artist or have drawing skills to communicate information.

I feel like if visual learning was implemented more in school, some kids would actually do better; not everyone learns the same way

I never kept notebooks My sketches are everywhere, and I used envelopes ✉️. Notebook ideas would be a good topic. An A5 book can sit in the small of your back inside your belt. When working on a site your hands are free but the note book is available. Bigger and smaller are difficult to have with you. A page with a date at the top and weather details and men on site will give a time line.

Yes, I typically date and name my travel sketches. I am currently using an A5 'Watercolor Book' by Hahnemuhle.

My wife's English language skills are excellent, a teacher but I know visual language is important in otherways. Mathematics and financial skills are another language.
