Data Engineer here. The parallels of these concepts with what we strive for in data and software architecture are striking and give a very solid and time-tested approach to the more "soft" architecting of non-physical things such as software and more so data processing pipelines that all need to go through the same systems and design thinking processes to be successful and of high quality. Thank you for the content and description of these concepts in a way that is digestible to apply to different areas of life and disciplines.

Hi Roberts . I love your videos and have been binge watching them . I am a young architect myself from a small country called Bhutan. Keep on doing the great work. Sending you love ❤.

I seldom (essentially never) dabble in architecture but your videos have colossal levels of great formatting and subsequently allows me to apply your knowledge in a intermediary way to my own and its artistic functions. Your channel has also resulted in a large fascination for architecture and may even sewed the seed of potential future studies within the field. Regards and hopes for the best with your design (and channel's) future.

Thanks! The book at 1:13 is called "Sun, Wind, and Light: Architectural Design Strategies" by Brown and DeKay. From 2001. When I went to architecture school it was on the curriculum.

Thanks. Yes, I'm still learning how to make videos, and make them interesting for KZread. Hopefully my videos are getting better.

@@robertsarchitecture I also like the presentation of this video. It allows for someone to absorb and think about the concepts, rather than needing to be entertained by them. Unnecessary entertainment actually detracts from the learning aspect, but unfortunately that is what is popular in predominantly entertainment media like KZread. My belief and experience is that this form of presentation is of much higher longer lasting value to a smaller group of people overall.
