    i have the canon 80d and i have the L series lens 16-35 and i like to take pictures in tv and av. but i like to take pictures with the shutter speed at 1/200 but i wonder if i'm doing something wrong? the lens doesn't have image stablization but it take great pictures every now again. i'm going to play around with the camera until i learn everything. i was told to put everything on auto but i like to play with my iso. i want to learn how to take better pictures at night and i won't stop until i'm the best at what i do. i like your video maybe i can get you to help me with a few pointers

    Hi, my 80D lowest aperture is 4.5. Is that ok?

  • @d53101
    @d531013 жыл бұрын

    I shoot in manual with my 80D, but set the ISO to auto. That works best for me. You can’t judge the exposure of an image from the LCD screen, especially outside in daylight. You need to view the histogram of the image to get the most accurate idea of it’s exposure.

    it is really funny how people tends to say "Manual Mode" is the "professional" way. it is like baying a Car that can take you to point B and saying walking is the most effective way to get to that point B. Manual mode is good in some situation such as Landscaping, Studio shooting where you have light and other stuff set up etc. In street photo, manual mode is totally useless but Aperture Mode is the win win. because you dont have time to resetting your camera for every changes in your surrounding. Just shoot RAW and you can do whatever you want with the photo in post-pro.Please stop saying M is Pro because it is not. you become profesional when you start making living (money) out of that thing you do. not the way you do it or the gear you use to do it...
