I enjoy all of your helpful videos. How do I update an older AP 7600 snack machine so that it will take a Card reader? Will putting on an newer coin mechanism work?

The 7600 is a pretty old machine and will not support a CC reader with its original board. You would have to upgrade the board to an aftermarket board like one from InOne.

Thank you for these videos. I have a quantum 700. Do I need to program it for each tube? How do empty it? Ugh.

I do not have any quantum 700 coin mechs, so I'm not sure about the operation of them. Post your question on the vendiscuss.net message board and someone will be able to answer that question.

@@malcolmparker8942 coin mech swapping is very similar on all machines.

not positive... but i think the USA/Canada switch means when it's ON it will take BOTH .. off it will only accept USA .. been a long time since I've dealt with those old tan mech's.

I have a dixie 501e and I'm trying to upgrade my coin mech to a newer conlux. The machine is not recognizing the new coin mech. I tried unplugging and restarting machine. Still not working. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

Are you sure you're coin mech is good? Have you tried it on another machine? Does the mech show any lights?

I literally just got a merlin like this, and the whole front half of the mechanism is gone. Are all coinco mechanisms the same? Mines a 768-10

You need to make sure it's a vending mech with 24volt mdb....not an amusement mech with 117 volt. The mech should have a white 6 pin power harness.

Do you mean it doesn't report cash sales through the credit card reader? If so, look to see if there is a eprom update available for your control board. If not, you may need to get a replacement board like an Inone board if cash reports are important to you.

Um, about the graphics on the Royal Merlin IV soda machine in this video. What graphics did it have before it switched into the red background bear graphics?

@@danielwalterbury9233 You've asked me this before. You can't remove the side decals without them coming apart...so they are in the trash. The Gatorade front I have in storage. Do you want to buy it?

Is it possible for his coin mech to be recalibrated for coin recognition? For example teaching it that 1 euro it is equal to 1$ ?

You can't do custom messages on these Royal machines.

There are probably dip switches on the coin mech that you turn on to add multiples of 5 cents. For instance, if the first dip switch were the only one on, the soda would be 5 cents. If the second dip switch were the only one on, the soda would be 10 cents. If the first and second dip switches were on, the soda would be 15 cents (5 + 10). Get it?

Yes...it would be the same...just remember to unplug your machine when swapping the mech.

It is a machine from the 90s. It was a Gatorade machine when Quaker Oats still owned Gatorade...which they sold to Pepsi in 2001.

Yes..I've installed three credit card readers. It's not too hard...they come with directions.

I have a used coinco I just got off ebay. The dispensing buttons are stuck depressed. Quick fix? No help from seller.

@@AyoitsNifty Hmmm...I've never tried to take one of those apart since I usually just send them out for service. I guess you could try taking it apart and see if you can determine what is keeping the buttons depressed. Even if you mess it up, those coin acceptors are fairly inexpensive now so you could always pick up a replacement.

@HappyVending it essentially had no plungers in its buttons. so I had two of those models. The one I was trying to replace wasnt returning consistently. I swapped internal parts and my vending machine now makes correct change! I'll be sending the other off for repair.

Someone killed a friend of mine that was a technician for this sort of technology

Does it show credit when you put in the money? Does the money fall through to the coin return? Did it ever work?

@@HappyVending light says use correct change it takes the bills the coin it goes through down in to the bucket iv eaven prime each column yesterday we noticed the can counter wires wer cut from something wonder if it's the root of the problem

@@HappyVending idk on model no it doesn't vend nothing at all its not completely full just enough to push the paddles in so the lights on the slecter goes out could be the problem cuz its not completely full

@@rigobertodimas8014 As long as the sold out paddles are pressed in, it's full enough. If you have another coin mech, you can always swap it out.
