I'm confused why you are taping into the harness? Did you not have original ST bumper with the Fog light wiring?

I just did mine too I have Ford focus see with Rs bumper it look so good

the pre-lift will need a change because the headlights are a different shape making the hood a different shape

Boss is possible to do this swap to a 2015 SE hatchback? Where did you bought the bumper?

@@nathanbaer8246 I did the back bumper. Had zero issues. Only had to tap into the wiring for the 4th brake light. You can get a dual led bulb and possibly make it stoplight/reverse

Wait hold on, I might've missed it, Where did you get the "RST" emblem? I'm picking up an RS bumper tomorrow, and would love to have an emblem like that! Also, thanks for this incredible instructive and helpful video, this is actually really helpful for what I'm gonna face when I decide to mount the bumper!

You can probably have it 3D printed by someone with the ST font, but I believe there is a Chevy RST emblem you can find online, it's just not the same font.

Why did you splice the wires for the fog lights. Doesn’t the ST wiring harness for the fog lights simply plug in to the RS fog lights?

Unfortunately no they don't. They use totally different fog light systems and bezels. Also when I sold my St bumper I had no idea that he took my harness off of there which I could have used part of it but I ended up having to just make my own

@@octanetvchannel That makes sense. I was curious because another person on KZread that did the conversion said it was plug n play with the wiring harness from the ST. Maybe if you would have kept your it would have been easier.

I dident see you're comment, I just asked the same question, I just did the conversion yesterday and the Fog light wiring is the same as the ST, The H8/H11 Plug for the bulb should just plug into same bulb on the RS fog light, I've not fitted fogs yet as I thought I needed to buy new plugs.

@greatness7822 there's a few other bits and pieces you need as well that are attachment points. I'd recommend pulling up an exploded view to see what all you need. To be more specific by "front bumper," I mean the whole front bumper assembly, not just the cover. Meaning all the little grills, foglights, clips, bumper supports, etc as they are not the same between 2015 and 2016. I had planned on swapping my 2013 st to a 2016 rs front end and the total came to be a bit over a grand while using a mix of aftermarket and oem parts. Because ford will charge you $600 for a little piece of plastic. I'd recommend trying to find a car that's been hit in the rear that someone's parting out to get the best price, hope this helps°

People get pissy when you up badge cars for some reason. I wanna do the swap on my ST because of the bigger open grill so I can get max air flow to my future intercooler upgrade and utilize the brake cooling ducts by the RS fog lights.

Don’t look at it as upbadging. If he’s not trying to call it that car then he’s jusy giving it a more aggressive front end. What’s the matter with that? People do that all the time with a bunch of aftermarket parts.
