John, a very relevant video for me, because I just dragged out of my wardrobe the four new sports jackets that I bought before I contracted COVID 19. And now they all need to be taken to a Tailor, but they are similar to the coats that you modelled today. And for a person who does not own any jeans, except for a second hand pair that I bought for gardening your presentation made me realise that I would be very happy to be seen wearing all of the clothes that you presented today. But as an old Salesman, that's no surprise, because it has been beaten into my brain for decades, the Classic Marketing Adage ... "A picture is worth a thousand words." Great video. Phil.

John happy to be part of the family of 'legends'!! Jeans, dress boots button ups and ties are my uniform at work. I work at a larger police facility as a civilian (retired officer) and this outfit is my uniform. Plently of compliments. Just dressy enough but also casual and comfort. Great vid today. Cheers!!

Yes i wear it all the time on my days off, at work i process DAIRY products .so have to change to company clothes.

“Skip Ad” is what I click on first on every KZread video I watch apart from that good video dark jeans are smart and go with sports jackets 👍

John, you never disappoint "at least in my opinion." Loved your explanations but even better your grand finale of the combinations. A picture is worth a thousand words and as usual, I took notes. I don't know if you would ever consider doing a video on brown and black leather blazers. I have one of each and enjoy them with jeans. Anyway, thank you for all the time you invest in helping me look my best.

Good timing on this video John as Spring has finally sprung and the sports jackets can come out of the closet instead of the heavy coats and jackets. The Revtown jeans look good. BTW that older video still holds up pretty well. Peace . : )

As t-shirt/flannel shirt guy I really like the look with the brown shoes with the leans & jacket. 👍🏻👍🏻 I'm not a fan of the sneaker and jacket look, I thought the black sneakers looked better than the white.

Like this look John!!! Been doing this myself for many years so versatile but smart at the same time. Particularly like light grey jacket I have worn with dark navy slim jeans or navy jacket with slight pinstripe worn with dark wash grey denim or stone colour chinos pair with some suede chelsea boots and the looks complete. Hi John, thanks for the ideas. For me i like more unpatterned jackets, from sand to brown with jeans in several tones. And i like texture in the material, like linen.. I'm jealous of your skin tone, damned here in Germany it's cold and rainy. Seems you have it already sunny and warm... :-)

I like the video and the looks you showed, but I was hoping for more discussion on colors and patterns in jackets, and then which color shirts would or would not be appropriate? Just white and blue shirts? Any other colors? How to match and pair them... I mean, I have a decent idea of some of it, but was hoping for more outside the box ideas. Thanks! In my life style I never go anywhere where I would need to wear a sport jacket but after watching this video I'm thinking its time to start..lol These looks really make the jackets look cool. Definitely going to check out those jeans its time for new ones and I've always been a big fan of jeans and under armor so I'm sure those fit as good as they look. One more thing that looks good is your belts. What brand is that belt you were wearing?

Hello John, were you buy all this jackets?

As a 65 year old, I just can't do a sports coat with sneakers. I can do dark jeans, but dress loafers or chucka boots are as casual as I can go with footwear.

Great videos mate. I will say one thing though, your 'salt n pepper' beard inspired me to do the same. Nothing but positive comments from others...cheers!

I typically wear my sports jacket without but should i be adding one as an accent to highlight or tie in some colours of everything? I notice you have one in the monologue but not in the section of displaying the styles.

I like these jeans. I'm in the car alot with my cellphone in the back pocket. It wears the pocket out and I get a small tear. A little streatch solves that.

Which series of Revtown jeans is like Levis 501 original?

I feel like you don't see too many brown dress shirts out there so I haven't been quite brave enough to wear the one I do have, yet. What would be the consensus on a blue sport coat, not quite dark enough to call navy, and a light brown dress shirt with jeans?

Start with the big retailers, but also check out Suit Supply and Indochino if you have locations near you.

Would’ve been a tad bit better if you would’ve incorporated some bright colors in the shirt and jacket area, like some light oranges or pinks for the spring look,

FYI, Revtown jeans do have 28" length but they are only available in the smallest waist sizes, so not for everyone

Hey John! I’m 5,10 I weigh 165 pounds. Body is lean/fit. What style would you recommend and size. I mean they have relaxed, skinny, slim etc. now I’m 46 so. Don’t think I’ll do skinny. Lol. Only getting your opinion since you have own a pair/pairs. Don’t want to buy abd then have to send back to order again. Thanks brother!

For me, I prefer to not cuff jeans when wearing a sportjacket because that moves the jeans towards even more casual. I also forgo tie and/or pocket square, try to keep to dark jeans woth minimal or no pocket design stitching or contrast stitching, and usually go with button down collar because that moves the shirt towards the less formal direction. Have fun!
