How-To Strip Furniture Safely Using GreenEZ from Wise Owl Paint | DO NOT Use Oven Cleaner!!!
Welcome to the RGTV. On today’s video I'm sharing our recommendations for How-To Strip finishes from furniture safely. This will include using Wise Owl Paint's Green EZ Strip & Clean Stripper & Finishing Cleaner. I will share some tips and tricks to help along the way and even show examples of its use. I'm sharing this video because I've seen many trying a viral hack using oven cleaner to strip finishes. This is VERY unsafe as oven cleaners are extremely caustic not to mention what chemicals can be left behind in the wood when you're done... so please... be safe and DO NOT use oven cleaner!

I am definitely sold. I have three wooden chairs that need to be stripped. Each chair has over 100 years of leaded paint layers on it. I have been avoiding it like the plague but I will definitely try these safer products.
I have 90 year old 7 inch bead board walls AND ceilings with probably 12 coats of paint applied through the life of the home. Can I roll this on to strip my ceiling and walls???
Wow thanks for explaining how the two products work together. Wise owl’s website does such a poor job of explaining this.
would this be better than citristrip for removing varnish and stain? is the only drawback a lot of scrubbing with steel wool?

Yes I’ve used both and feel like this is better. Not sure what you mean by a lot of scrubbing with steel wool, that would only be if you’re using the Finishing Cleaner as a stripper instead of the Strip & Clean. Which is an option but not the main go to for stripping… you’d want to use the Strip & Clean stripper for most instances 👍

@@RefurbishedGentlemanTelevision ok. It seemed like if u weren't stripping paint then just use the finisher. I'll have to see if a store in my area sells this stuff. No one near me sells wise owl products. I prefer shopping in stores

How can I strip polyurethane off of a wood dresser?
Why won’t they ship these products alone? That’s bullshit.
