How to Strip and Clean a Baxi Solo HE Heat only boiler

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Full strip and clean of a Baxi Solo HE 15. What started off as a routine service soon turned into a major service when it became clear it had not been done in quite a while.
In this video see how to remove the fan, condensate trap, combustion door, electrodes, burner and sump and put it all back togther.
We also complete all our ga safety checks including gas rate, telegan readings etc.
The video is for guidance of registered gas engineers only or entertainment only. Please not not attempt any of the work shown if you are not competent.
Thank you for you continued support, the giveaway draw is coming! I’ve been flat out but I will make the draw this week so stay tuned

Boss! If someone cleans and service the way you did, will definitely have a big positive result! Because I cleaned my own Baxi very light before seeing your kind video and I saw a big difference!

To be fair that's not the worst I've seen. Pulled those sumps out to have moon rocks come tumbling down the back of it in the past😂. Often got a telling off for my troubles for "taking too long" as you know mate. They ain't that bad to do really.

  • @bluebulldog_uk

Yeah think we have both seen worse on our travels, even had it where the sump has been wrecked and even after a clean out not passing a KW rating. I think we have an advantage from being made to strip these time after time so they ain’t that bad to us but I can see how a newer gas engineer or someone who doesn’t see them often may struggle with these! Always done a top job Ben, never understood why they would track your time on jobs when you always made sure it was done right! 👍

It’s a shame when you go to a customer that thinks they have had a boiler looked after for years and find out it’s never been done properly
