    I sleep on my side and I fall under the “snore no matter what” category. Even when I’m sitting on a chair, watching netflix, regularly breathing, my friends have to ask me “are you awake?” Because I snore sometimes while being awake.

    OMG! This is great - like a gift from above! I'm going to ask my roommate to watch this video. I wear headphones to bed every night and sleep to white noise videos on KZread, but sometimes she snores so loudly she wakes me up regardless. I hope she'll try some of these suggestions. Thank you so much!!

    My roommate never used to snore, she was in my body size. Now she gained weight like 20lb. She snores the whole building hears her 🤣😆😂 Excess weight can cause snoring, but losing weight won't disappear the snoring.

    I did a number of sleep studies. it turns out that I am a part of 4% of people who have "severe Central sleep apnea" which pretty much means doctors have no idea how to fix it. Currently I'm trying to take something called ribonucleic acid also called RNA. It is a supplement meant to heal your nervous system and cure sleep apnea... I'll let you know if it works

    As soon as the the jaw drops the the oral passages close slightly increasing the the pressure in the the passage thus making a reed like disturbance, either lift the chin up with a strap or a pillow. or have a occlusual splint made to push the lower jaw forward opening the the cavity for a better flow. i have made a few of these splints with a hard soft laminated material. It is not a one fix all solution but seems to work except for an increase in dribble as it is hard to swallow when your jaw is n protrusion.

    My husband snores horribly. I can’t sleep it makes me tired. He always says that i need to put on earplugs, but i hate that feeling when something is in my ears and i feel unsafe when doing so. I keep thinking that anyone can come and steal everything while I am deaf from earplugs and my husband sleeps like a rock. I want some solution that would stop him from snoring. He refuses go to doctors. Some recommendations?

    Dr Axe, I have a question for you. Is it safe for a diabetic to take vitamin b 12 1,000 milligrams ? My sister is diabetic on the pills Metformin but has anxiety attacks. She read by researching on line that vitamin b 12 helps with anxiety. I'm not sure if this is true but I though I'd ask for my sister. In a nut shell is vitamin B12 safe for a diabetic to take at 1,000 milligrams..

  • @queenesreina7424

    @queenesreina7424

    6 жыл бұрын

    Paula Tristan My stepdad's also been diagnosed with diabetes (adult-onset type 2 WITH insulin, which apparently isn't as common). He started taking B-12 (also at 1,000mg, if recalling correctly) last year upon the recommendation of his podiatrist. In this case, not for anxiety, but for diabetic neuropathy (pain/pins-and-needles in the extremities, especially in the legs, caused by diabetes-induced nerve damage). According to my stepdad, he was greatly helped by it. (In the interest of full disclosure, he's no longer taking it, because he gets "tired of taking so many pills" and, unsurprisingly, the neuropathy symptoms started coming back....) Though not diabetic, I've personally found a certain degree of relief from anxiety after beginning to take B-vitamins (a vitamin B complex, in one's case), though one's A1C never did reach the diabetes range, thankfully. Hopefully, you'll hear back from Dr. Axe (or another natural healthcare practitioner of your choosing) on what could help with the anxiety your sister's experiencing. Please, be aware that there are other factors that contribute to anxiety/panic issues -- including (but not limited to) lack of proper sleep, poor nutrition, unresolved emotional trauma, and/or ineffective or insufficient emotional coping/support mechanisms in place (like being isolated). There's even believed to be a link between lack of proper breathing (such as occurs with sleep apnea and other breathing conditions) and the incidence of anxiety. If your sister does choose to go down the vitamins route, it'd be good to make sure she chooses natural vitamins (as opposed to synthetic). A while back a study was published which warned that taking vitamins was linked to tumor growth; however, a later study showed that what was contributing to tumor growth was the taking of _synthetic_ vitamins, not natural ones. It's wonderful that you're looking out for your sister. Best of hopes to both of you! 😃

    People need to get labwork to get B12 level checked by Dr. first. Don't take B12 unless one is low on it. I would think it would cause anxiety especially if taken later in day, because B12 makes one more energized.

    It can be frustrated at time, but is NOT his fault and not Intentionally. He needs professional help and find a way to breathe while he sleeps. Trust me! as much frustrated is for you is even more to him. I personally suffer this problem and now I understand why I feel fatigue, moody and tired. I want so BAD to fix it and make it gone FOREVER, I am sure your husband feels that way.
