I found that pudina works great. I placed a pudina pot near my car and it never came back.

This is a major problem of car ownership that you have addressed. Somethings I have learned: 1. Rats don't like strong smells and that means the tobacco smell works well. Other strong smells also work 2. Car interior should be very clean. Food remains even a tiny bit attracts them. 3. Once Rats come in they leave their fecal matter that attract them to the same place again. So have to deodorize completely. Carpet shampooing and steam cleaning of interior recommended for this 4. Park the car in different places or orientations. Sometimes it makes the Rats lose track as they follow trails

Nothing works better. There is a smell in rat poop that brings the rat back to car again. Rat enter through front wheel axil ,then engine ,then through AC vent row to dashboard which is hollow. Put Chilli powder , lal mirch powder two packets entirely on the engine in and around. This makes rat smell irritating and don't try to enter. Recommend with personal experience. Have put rat mesh , rat trap, rat siren . But Red chilli powder is the best.

Hi, buy it only if it has a thorough service history and has been well taken care of. You can check out my maintenance video on the Skoda Laura. Add +25% on all costs mentioned for parts and factor an additional ₹1lakh for gearbox overhaul (DSG clutch). Maintenance will be expensive, so make an informed decision. According to me. Buy it if you already have a reliable car in the garage for daily use.

Hyundai has that kind of wiring which attracts rats because of the material they use which is basically rodent food.

Great video buddy, especially for a first attempt! The local fix won't be that long lasting, better get it fixed under warranty by TATA asap. Also, use all tips in the video to prevent pesky rodent attacks, best is to use the car everyday :-) Apologies for the late response.

They can enter thro the engine bay or any rust holes. Also I mentioned I left the car with the mechanic overnight, he may have left the door open and gone. That time the rat would have entered

same here sir.. i have tried everything on Earth (pugayelai, garlic spray, strong puerfumes,3m Rat Repellant, naphthalene balls and even the ultrasonic device ) still Rat enters my car. Only happiness I have now after spending soo much on my KIA SELTOS, almost 5 bottles of 3m Spray.. (used every 5 days on all wires) rat do come but spares the wire, but they leave to much of droppings.. So. every day I clean them before i start my SUV , keep spending.. and no peace of mind, as I have spend a huge money to repair my new SUV in first attack... guys any other way to stop them ???

@@ARAKKAN2020 you have to find a way to keep a physical barrier to these rodents. I used a steel mesh to cover the entire perimeter around my car and that worked well. You can see that kind of projects in KZread.

Planning to set the trap inside the boot space today. It would be a hectic problem if they already have offsprings and made my car their Home.😭😭😭😭

@@prrabhu hmmm. Keep some food (non-veg preferd) in the trap. It worked for me 5 times....few months later again I found traces of rats. Caught 4 of them over 4 days
