Yes pudhina leaves &napthalene balls gives good result. 1. My suggestion is use Peppermint oil or spray (even though costly) in rat coming areas in the car. Ratcwill not come. I tried & success. Nature of peppermint is if it get contact with the body, it will make feel uncomfortable (koosum) &untolerable. So rat will not come. Also we should apply peppermint without touching our body.

Adding few more tips.. 1)Don't keep any eatable things inside car, like buiscut, chips etc. 2) Normally when childrens are eating in the car, they will spill some on Car Mats, make sure to clean the car mats before parking. 3) if you are parking your car for a long time.. do not use car cover and also start your engine daily for 5 minutes and don't leave un attended for long time.

Third point is more important....when u r parking car for long time don't use cover....I put cover for my car for more than one week and left unattended and on both occasions rat came.....
