Mel, I have been watching for a year. Finally you got through loud and clear. I work alone cleaning ar-bnb's so I listen while I clean. Today I stopped while I was hearing you and your guest. I Went to the mirror, and as I high fived, I saw my face make a huge smile. My heart felt full and my step was lighter. What a profound change. You rock. My self is grateful. Back to bed making and a better feeling. Movin' on up! I can feel my forever plan getting a foothold. Bit by bit, step by step, the journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step. TY again.

Wow- your April 2020 moment has cut through it all and explained “me” like I’ve never realized I needed to know! That’s probably extremely confusing but I’m still crying soo deeply and feeling so understood & more importantly what I have NEEDED all my adult life… thank you doesn’t seem to be enough.. But Thank YOU from my deepest self…

Ah, the slither…I do this on occasion. Somedays because it feels good. Somedays because thats all my body will physically allow, overwhelmed or not. Either way the Slither is a great tool to have in one’s pocket. And yes, I clean as procrastination/avoidance, I clean to clear my mind, I clean to counteract productivity guilt. “I didn’t get XYZ done, but hey the kitchen is clean! 😂

No thanks. But yes to self care. Each day I do sorting for me amongst the hell of what life is at the mo…read a chapter, workout, book a treatment so I can plan an afternoon off, run a bath, arrange a catch up with a friend, call my dad. These things help me get through not high give my mirror and then stress over the mucky hand print 😮😢😂

Thank you for mentioning the slithering from the couch to the bed. As I sit here at 2am because i feel stuck here, my anxiety increases and I never want to go to bed, although I know I need my rest I am resisting. I will use this method to move myself to bed. I plan to share this with my sister - she deals with the same issue. I really appreciate your sharing this and the reminder of the 5 second / minute rule was also something I needed to be reminded of. I have a tendency to start something like this and then drop it and then wonder why I quit doing something that I really believe will help me move forward in improving my life. I have not figured out why I can't seem to stay focused on self improvement methods and keep them "alive" for any length of time is so very maddening but I don't give up trying - Here I am again and one day I hope that I realize I'm worth making the effort to love and respect my life. Thank you Mel for what you do to help people like me, in this crazy ass world.

I clean when I’m stressed. In fact I clean all the time! I had no idea it was procrastinating. I do find it hard to be still…kitchen has to be cleaned before bedtime, cupboards have to be organised yet I have piles of jobs to do. Pile of ironing I’ve meant to do a week ago so each morning a shirt for daughter. Nuts! My mother in law is very unwell & the end is near, one daughter has severe anxiety diagnosed, one daughter has eating issues, husband has depression and is in a bad head space over his mum. Feel like I’m drowning. Any advice? I look after myself with gym/walk/eat well & am meeting friends one a fortnight for chat/coffee/meal just to escape 😢

Subconscious reprogramming is big around here and I use affirmations, sleep programming, re-patterning, mental rehearsal...you name it. and like Buddha when asked what he has gained from it and he said "nothing" I have not "gained" anything by this....but I can tell you what I've lost... I've lost fear of failure, self-consciousness, anxiety, depression the need for attention and to stand out, lack-based mentality, disease (yes I've healed from life-long disease doctors said was incurable through subconscious reprogramming)...fear of age, fear of death, fear of failure. lack of money, lack of love..mental illness.........etc....etc...LEARN SUBCONSCIOUS REPROGRAMMING...that is the key to awakening. thank you Mel!!!!

@@sarahpalacios1920 I cannot blame you for that...way too much fluff and click-bate out there.. Honestly most of what I get comes directly from Spirit as I've been awake over 40 years now and am actively engaged in daily spiritual work and channeling. As far as teachers go lately I've been most following Joe Dispenza as he takes a proactive approach plus he's downright brilliant and is great in explaining things. But I make up my own affirmations based upon the power of threes...I do sleep programs where I'm fully engaged in the process (no tape loops, I do my affirmations 31 minutes with emotion and feeling for 31 minutes and record it and play it every night as I'm falling asleep...the trick is repetition..it took me 3 years to heal disease doctors couldn't...most people give up too soon...anyway I hope this is helpful

Thank you so much for your insight! I have heard Dr. Joe Dispenza on other podcasts, loved what he shared, but have yet to buy his materials! The world needs more of this type of sharing of ideas and experience! Pray you stay blessed!

The squirm is empowering because one does not stay in bed tossing and turning with all the crap one thinks about!! I really love this! Sometimes the mind ruminating the day’s to do list can be daunting and taking on all the responsibilities of an elderly parent is the getting a very hard surprise exam that you HAVE TO DO!! So thank you Mel, my family can’t be with me while I have to deal with my aging mom, but I can always tap into one of your videos that make me laugh and keep me sane and centered so THANK YOU!!!

Just discovered this video Mel. 🫵are 100% correct re: it's a stress relief. Barr procrastinating (sitting to try to think thru stuff. Another option if I belonged to a gym - that becomes a 'camouflage' + focus "gym wkout procrastination". 👌"5 sec decision ✔️". 54321 cdown "acknowledge stress" 54321 just start something (Harder than it sounds, but rinse repeat the practice to form this productive habit.)
