i mean it should be isp knows this that router/sim is eating a lot of internet data they easily knows that with n without vpn 🤣🤣 so theres no such thing as bypass isp caps 🤣🤣

Well that's not exactly what a lot of people are looking for but let me explain. He's talking about ISPs that inspect traffic based on destinations (DNS and IP addresses) depending on their database to determine QoC they're prioritizing and making sure they keep a minimum service level for everybody. By encrypting your data you can bypass their mechanism. This process won't make you bypass the subscription speed limit but rather will make you get the best out of it. I would suggest reading the contact. If you have a bad service and they're not giving you what they promised you could then contact your ISP to resolve your issue. Law and changing the company are then the final step.

i think isp will also set a limit of X GB per day/week/month. once u exceed then they will throttle. even if you use vpn, the amount of bandwidth u use stays the same once you exceed the limit

I use my phone as a hotspot. My ip address on the phone shows the ip of the vpn. The ip on my computer shows the ip of my isp to the internet. Why?

I get isp throttling 24/7 if i use steam or blizzard games, I pay for 300mb speed and get about 15mb

That's not how it works. It'd be foolish for an ISP to throttle the speedtests. No, the technical limits of the network in your area have probably been reached. Indeed, an ISP detects what traffic you're generating and does so by a method called "deep packet inspection". Fun fact, a ping test has the lowest priority and hence why it often times out, even though nothing is wrong with the connection. The ISP has several priorities or QoS (quality of service) installed. One being it's own infrastructure has to keep talking to eachother to keep the network running. Then, when traffic loads exceed a certain percentage it has to start load balancing. Shops still have to be able to make e-transactions, a doctor to handle its consultation schedule, the bank and its cameras, etc... Your CoD download will have to wait a sec. It's usually due to older equipment not getting updated frequently enough. Every 18 months, just as Moore's law for PC's, everyones internet usage doubles. A good ISP is one that plans ahead to what the future will need and bring.

I’m assuming if you get throttled and THEN try to use a vpn, it’s too late lol. But maybe if you haven’t been throttled yet and you use a vpn, u might not get throttled. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I am using Nordvpn and AT&T since then using the internet have been nothing but grief. From Google search to KZread videos are always buffering and frozen speed. The bottom line is that we have no privacy

If the ISP always throttles your for uploading and or downloading a lot of data within a short period of time then a VPN will not help as in that case they can still track how much data you download and upload. They can also see that you are using a VPN and some ISPs hate VPNs so they will throttle you or disable your connection completely whenever they detect that you are connected to a VPN.

VPN will lower your download speed basically anytime you use one..

I have 50 mega bit until I use a VPN and it drops the 2 Mb to VPN seems to be causing my ISP to throttle. What do I do about that?

The original reason for asynchronous/slower upload speeds internet speed was to keep consumers from running their own servers. It was to corner the market to make sure a consumer stays a consumer where they belong. ------"oh whats that? you know what you are doing about servers and mac addresses and v-lans and networking? nah nah you don't need to know that. stay stupid as we will never tell you that information to make sure you call a technician every time so we can charge you more." This is one of the reasons the average person is more tech illiterate today then in the late 1980s. fewer people today dont know how the internet works or how computers work than in the 1980s. You are being conditioned not to care and the reality is being hidden from you. But thats okay. Just go enjoy your shiny new iphone...
