    Another good tip on reducing tiredness is to paddle back out to the end of the lineup away from the break. Swing wide to avoid any possible collisions and take advantage of any sections that don’t break. This also gives the crowd a break between rides. Paddling straight back out through the lineup takes way more energy to fight waves and try and avoid impact from other surfers.

    LOL good timed video for me. I went surfing for the first time in over 10 years yesterday and I was exhausted. I thought my over a year of progress in the gym lifting weights would have helped out a lot but I felt gassed out after like 10 minutes!

    Here's one. Compare closed fingers (cupped or whatever), open fingers and closed fist paddling in a pool or lake and see which one is most efficient! With no current it's quick and easy to figure out

    I’m sure someone has had this pain under ribs best way to heal or not have this happen as much beginner here!

    Must fix your paddling posture try to arch your back more so your more on your belly and not your ribs when paddling out, it will go away soon enough
