Hi Doc i have a side loaded fire stick to watch tv on as no tv signal in my area i can stream itv or bbc using iplayer or hub no problem but when i use deadpool every now and again the stream stops for 3 seconds internet speed is 30 megs i have another app interbot video freezes compleatly but audio still runs can i fix these apps or is there better ones i should be using for live tv thanks

Hi doc hope your doing ok.why is it when I watch a film on my android box,everythings ok but soon as I watch sport it bufferd

I have all green check marks and an average download of 280 mbps on the speed test app. I have updated Tea TV and NOVA apps and IF I find a link that will play (most say "Link not ready"), it will buffer constantly. I've tried the pause trick to let the stream 'catch up' but that never works. Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and KZread stream flawlessly. Why do these other apps buffer so much?

SportxTherxWar, You're right about Amazon Netflix and KZread, they're great no problems, but everything else is buffing.

My problems is one or more items failed to play check log but Kodi is already installed and I cannot see how to get to the log for solutions. I also have buffering

My firestick only buffers when playing movies in 4k but works fine when playing tv shows in 4k

Thank you for the info. I do have one of the latest Firestick versions. I have 2 GB available. I have done a force stop on all running apps using Background Apps & Process List app. My speed test 8s usually at least 45 mbps and as high as 300. I continue to try streaming a TV series on Cinema free called Heartland and it continues to buffer throughout a 1 hour show, any other ideas?

I am attempting to just watch live tv. I don't get buffering during movies or tv series.

My 4k firestick buffering downloaded Anatiti and 114Mbps downloading 20Mbps uploading. Automatic tests disabled should this be enabled. Ps have you named your new family member yet.

I have Background apps and when I force stop, it wipes my user name and password is that normal or am I doing something wrong

I wonder if you could help me I've got 40 to 50 download speeds but some things I like to watch won't play at all and sometimes they crash could you tell me what this would be

Cinema don't buffer. You must not be allowing it permissions to access your pictures and files and etc

I got a 1GB Internet with Orbi Satellites around the house. When I'm trying to watch a 4K movie on the firestick it will buffer. Netflix, Amazon Prime and KZread all fine with 4K content, but FireStick will buffer.

I've got 27 down 10 up, is that good or bad?

It’s bad. You will buffer all day long. You need at least 300-500

Is there away a person can un install pre installed stuff on the firestick ? They come with a lot of bloat ware that you don't need. And I wonder if there's away you can root it like your android phones?

I have 500 mbps virgin media stream with kodi matrix and I use xenon plus debrid but I’m experiencing start and stop start and stop on n on I have over 2 gb storage on 4k max and I use a usb drive with huge storage which most of my 3rd party apps stored on usb drive but I get interrupted viewing while watching tv shows not movies Also I use IPVanishVPN down speed is terrible make matters worse it’s Ethernet connected can anyone explain why this is happening I use cache cleaners turn of program from running in the background. Any information would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately it could be the fact that there are many links in the chain, even though you've gone belt and braces with VPN and Rdb. I had kodi but took it off now I cant find anywhere that shows how to put on addons like Xenon etc, that work. Any help?

My firestick has been freezing after using it for a few seconds then I have to click on home to use it again. Any recommendations Doc

hello again thank you for the reply. The next question literally has Gb fiber upgraded by virgino2 I have never seen it go over 220mbps, in fact, every day I have to reset the hub otherwise it drops below 80mbps sometimes even twice a day. I have a VPN I use RD and AD and Tract I have an external hard drive I use with my 4K max firestick which has over 2.23 Gb of storage free and that does not include the external drive but I get buffering, jumping, click on a tv show and get a porno what am I doing wrong.?

What he's not telling us is the internet companies are purposely buffering the iptv. When I travel and take my firestick to a hotel it never freezes at all. I have 1gig and 2 different providers. Spectrum 1gig and frontier 1g. I do use the background process list app to clear cache. Main issue is the internet companies are trying to discourage iptv so you can buy their service.

My speed 101..awesome, reset modem, reset internet, reset firesticks, two tvs two firesticks, both buffering, close to modem very good, so internet is great...usually happens on Friday nights..so strange..update Upload is 101.83 download 104.55 mbps

The only way to stop buffering is to stop using third-party apps in which all buffering occurs. If you use this device as it was intended to be used for watching Netflix Amazon Prime Etc you will not have any buffering

Why would I buy a firestick for anything other than 3rd party apps? Every device in my house can get Netflix and that it's the 3rd party's that make firestick what it is take them away n I garentee half the people won't use them at all

Ur wrong... I have 500mbps an can't stream a 800mb movie most of the time. I can send u all the proof. I had a firestick adapter for lan line. It didn't help at all. I use bee tv official app. Now if I watch utube or roku in my bedroom it never buffers. Nothing else buffers except on my firestick.also my storage isn't half full. An I use a VPN. Make sure all my other apps are stopped. So why is it buffering. I'll check my speed when it starts buffering. An it'll go down to 350 or so should still be ok but nope!!! Buffer!! It'll play for an hour straight jus fine then buffer for the next 20 mins can u tell me why?
