What I do to stop a panic attack when having a panic attack is to remember it's just that, it's not real danger and to start to control my breathing focusing all my attention on that. And when I feel like I'm about to have an attack, I go outside of the house or whatever place I'm in, and look at the sky while focusing on breathing fresh air, that's really helpful. Sometimes I also hold my cat on my arms and start to distract myself of what's happening it actually works pretty well, too!

What's my favourite coping skill? Is avoidance a skill if I'm really good at it? /s
