Stop Panic Attacks Now - Guided Visualisation

Panic attacks happen when we have a sudden burst of fear and anxiety. This is caused by the body's natural response to prepare for a ''fight or flight'' situation and this subconsciously triggers a set of physiological reactions.
We've put together this invaluable video especially for you if you are struggling with a panic attack right now.
#stoppanic #panicattack #panicdisorder
My personal recommendation for a good book on Panic attacks and how to deal with them is called The Panic Switch by Jeffrey Hammes: amzn.to/2xagbTJ
If you are suffering from severe panic attacks, or any other mental health condition which is causing you concern, be sure to book an appointment with your GP.

This is an amazing video, and helped me calm down a bit. Thank you. But, food for thought, it simply just ends, without bringing one back to present and then youtube simply just rolls onto the next video (not yours), and it had a commercial which brought it back to a level of anxiety again because I wasn't expecting it. Might want to end your videos with a bringing back to present message, so one is fully in awareness before they get jumped into the next video's commercial. Hope that made sense.

It's because you're trying to get over it. It's a massive paradox. The more you want it to stop or go away, the more emphasis we place on anxiety and therefore keep ourselves in the cycle.

Respectfully im reading these comments and id like to know how many of you experience this daily, weekly, monthly or periodically. Mine are daily and my attacks set my mind in motion to being terrified that someone will see me shaking, see that my legs won't move, asking me if im alright, or just staring at me and thinking im a freak. Its the shame of it all that gets me in that vicious cycle during the attacks. I always tell myself if anyone asks I'll just say my asthma is acting up. I don't have asthma. I isolate myself, don't sleep and then become paranoid. And the shitty part of it is that I know exactly what's happening and I can't stop it. During the attacks I realize its all in my head and causing my body to do these things, I realize that im becoming paranoid and still I can't stop it. Im not trying to minimize anyone else's experiences with panic disorder at all, I just want to know if im alone.

Hello. I go through times in my life where my panic attacks get more severe than others. Sometimes it can be once a day sometimes it can be on and off all day. My panic attacks can get to the point to where I even can’t stand up to use the bathroom and end up you know what. Or my panic will get so bad I will throw up and collapse if standing. This can last 15 minutes while sometimes it can be 45 minutes. I’m on anti anxiety medication too. Just wanted to let you know you’re not alone. Or a freak.

You're not alone. Don't be afraid for going through this. And always think of how you get through this each time and you're safe. Lately I have been telling my self, for 10 minutes I'm perfectly fine and after the 10 minutes end I keep on adding and it has helped me so much to keep my anxiety and panic attacks down. At times I don't even think of it. Mostly for me I'm worried that I might get a panic attack and then I do. So I have been working on thinking positively and working on accepting my emotions. If it's possible when you feel like your getting agitated write down what you're feeling. Writing slows down your thoughts and you'll be able to get into a positive mindset. I hope these works. It's alright that you're going through this and don't worry about what others might think because we mostly judge ourselves harshly than what they're actually thinking. Know that you're not alone and you can get throught his just like you've already have. ❤️

A really nice video, Billy. Have only just discovered it. I much enjoyed your videos with Drew of the Anxious Truth too. Any plans for some more? Drew can be a little critical of calming and soothing approaches to anxiety I think, but they all have their place. The big issue I face about my anxiety is the knowledge that everyone can see it, see my red sweating face, see my unsteady walking and see it ripping through me. I know the physical feelings can't hurt me, but the knowledge that everyone can see it is the big problem.
