I have a question. Revelation 3:9. does revelation 3:9 speak of the jews who rejected jesus but they continue to hold out for the messiah? I always thought this was God chastizing the jews who rejected christ. not speaking for all but even today the jews reject christ and I always thought God was implying that The synagogue of satan was a blanket statement that they rejected christ the messiah therefore they believe satan. isnt teaching false doctrine no matter who is doing it in the same category of sin or worshipping a lie or satan or an idol etc? I enjoy all of your lessons , please make more.! TC

Acts 11:15-18 15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

There is more to that story. The Holy Spirit fell on the gentiles in Cornelius' house as it did on the men preaching at Pentecost. The purpose of the miracle of tongues was to confirm the Word, which is what Peter is speaking of in Acts 11:15.‭. He still commanded them to be baptized afterward. Acts 10:47-48 NKJV‬ [47] “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” [48] And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.

I accept your challenge I believe the majority of what your channel preaches, except for the fact that baptizing in water is required rather than symbolic. john the baptist explained what being baptized in the name of Jesus was and here is the verse. - Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

I urge you to study your Bible with a clear mind free of what any man has taught you. From the Great Commission through the book of Acts the submission to baptism is linked to being added to the Church. Phillip and Ananias didn't tell the Ethiopian eunuch and Paul to just believe with all your heart and we'll baptize you on the next "baptism Sunday." The eunuch obviously deduced he should be baptized after Phillip preached Christ to him and Ananias asked Paul why he was waiting. Satan tempted Eve in Genesis 3 by adding 1 word to what God had told her when he said surely you will NOT die. Would he not be just as crafty to convince people that they can leave out 1 thing that would give them salvation? This "belief only" teaching is a modern one and has no root in the Church established in the 1st century. ‭‭Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV‬ [18] And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Acts 2:38 NKJV‬ [38] Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. ‭Acts 8:35-38 NKJV‬ [35] Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. [36] Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” [37] Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” [38] So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. ‭Acts 22:16 NKJV‬ [16] And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’ ‭Acts 16:31-33 NKJV‬ [31] So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” [32] Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. [33] And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. ‭Romans 6:1-4 NKJV‬ [1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? [2] Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? [3] Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? [4] Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

I urge you to do the same , water washes away Nothing. it is only symbolic of what is actually happening. if washing in water was required to be saved then anybody who is dying and it is too late for them to be baptized cannot be saved which is not true. so your belief is faulty. I agree with water baptism as it symbolically shows what is actually going on, and it helps profess your belief in Jesus Christ otherwise it is not needed to be saved. I take the Bible for what it says you can choose through ignore the verse. I showed you if you would like but when it says baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, it means with the Holy Spirit and fire not water, and that is the only baptism needed to be saved. I agree with losing salvation and everything else that has been taught on your channel except for being born righteous which is not biblical whatsoever so I advise that y’all start letting the Bible speak when it speaks instead of choosing to let it speak when you feel like it and then fill in the blank when it doesn’t fit what you believe

@@Casey_Hibler I believe you deleted my reply, but here’s another one baptism is required, but it is the baptism of Jesus Christ, which John the Baptist explained, is of the Holy Spirit and fire. That is when you receive the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with water the water is only symbolic of the sins being washed away. It is not required, though if one is dying on a bed and cannot be baptized in water. They can still be saved. your belief is faulty and not biblical. I would advise you to turn from filling in the blank instead of letting the Bible speak when it speaks. noticed you chose not to reply to the verse that I sent you you ignored it because it shows you where you are wrong. I believe that people can lose their salvation I believe and everything the Bible teaches to be true hundred percent just like I believe we are not born righteous because the Bible says so. so I suggest you read the Bible with a clear mind instead of being clouded with opinion.

First, who was the audience that John was speaking too? It was the Jewish people. When the verse is then looked at, He will baptize you [k]with the Holy Spirit and fire. This is a reference to two different groups. The first, "Holy Spirit baptism," is for all who accept Jesus as their savior. This was fulfilled in Acts 2: 38 when all who were baptized received the gift of the Holy Spirit. The second part of this passage, "Baptized with fire," was fulfilled in Acts 2:3 And tongues that looked like fire appeared to them, [b]distributing themselves, and a tongue [c]rested on each one of them. This was for the Twelve Apostles, and no one else. The Twelve Apostles were also filled with the Holy Spirit in the Upper Room as well. The Apostles received the gift of the Holy Spirit , the gift to speak in tongues, and baptized in fire, which is a metaphor extraordinary zeal to preach the message of Christ. In answer to your first statement in regard to baptism being symbolic. The text in Acts 2:38 states what baptism is for. It is not symbolic, since being baptized or not carries consequences with it. If there is anything that might fit with baptism, other than what Peter said after being asked what they must do to be saved, one could say that it is a proclamation that the one being baptized is proclaiming that they belong to Jesus.

If teaching one is not saved before baptism is a false Gospel, then where does Jesus say, whom you say you are a follower of, that baptism isn't necessary for salvation.?

@@HolyisHISname_channel There is nowhere written in the Bible that said one of the Gifts from the Holy Spirit was contingent on being baptized. For example, God used a donkey to give warning to Baalam. Here is the problem with your interpretation. It lacks all the evidence that happened that day. If Cornelius and his household were saved that day, then baptism wasn't necessary. What did Peter state after viewing this event? Acts 10: 47 “Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?” 48 And he ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay on for a few days. Corneilius was not saved by the Gift from the Holy Spirit. That is why Peter ordered them to be baptized. Here is something that many miss. There is a Gift of the Holy Spirit, which means it is given from someone else. Then there is a Gift from the Holy Spirit, which is given from the Holy Spirit, and has nothing to do with salvation.
