Quick Tip: If you want them to lay a certain way you have to twist them or start them in that direction (pulling). 👌🏾

Love the message at the end about loving your hair the way it is now. I've been growing my hair from a buzzcut since Feb, and that's what I had to tell myself everyday when i went through the "ugly" stage. Which to me wasn't all that ugly at all. It's mostly due to what other people say/ imply when they talk about ur hair. Anyway, awesome tutorial! I'm planning on starting dreads once my hair grows a bit more.

I’ve never personally had interested on getting dreads or locs on myself but I’m very interested on seeing you restart the process!

I’ve been with you since you started your old dread journey if I ever cut my “twisted” locs I would grow out some “free form” locs

Finally decided on locing my hair. Went to the store and bought the Jamaican mango and lime . Then came home and found this video ! Soon as I saw you recommended the same product I was like yeah let me watch this. Love this video ! Very descriptive and your voice is calming. Also . We have a gray hair in the same spot ❗️

Thank you so much! I have been considering combing my dreads out but I was nervous about if I will like how my normal hair looks after not having it for a while. But now I know that if I do comb it out and don’t like it, I can have a way for getting dreads back with my longer hair. So again thank you💖

GoofyDoom Bc it makes your curls a lot more define you twist them up then take them out after a few days. People also do the same thing with braids. Its called a twist out or braid out, its a pretty common thing to do

I started locking my hair like last week! I did NOT try this method. Sucks cus this method looks easier rather than what my girl did to me which was back combing and making nots. Now i kinda wish I did this style 😅

@@pandathejuggman3576 im Hispanic. My hair is somewhat curly. Like 2b at most. But yeah I gotta see where they'll lock me up. Just trimmed some of my dead hair off. Best way to do it would be locking it and letting my hair grow again.

I do the samedi hair cut but every time i wash my hair i have to retwist them and when i play basketball i have to restart the twist so i can't lock them. If someone can help me i'm not a pro for that
