Just recently I started doing the working routine from one of your videos, and it's so helpful to have some sort of guide for what exercises I can do at home. I can definitely not do as many reps and sets as recommended in the routine yet, but one day I will get there! I haven't worked out in a long time so I'm not surprised that my muscles are crying right now, but they will get used to it lol. Thank you for encouraging and helping people learn how to become stronger!
Thank you for your quick tips, your videos have been inspirational for me to do calisthenics training. Keep up the good work!
By watching your videos I learned how to stand on my hands and some other things. (It took me about 4-5 months, but I'm getting better every day). So I am very thankful to you for everything 💪🏻 Спасибо большое, Колин 👈🏻 (this is in my native language)
Love your vids they’re so easy to comprehend

Beautiful video.. as calisthenics is Greek for beauty and strength.. seems right we could think of it as a beautiful sport utilizing strength.. And there is ethereal beauty in the human flag.. Well done Colin.. and you have never lost your gentle talking to a friend delivery.. which is still as beautiful to see as it was when you began.. awesome as ever you are🌹 Jen999💜💙
I started to get into weightlifting and calisthenics partly because of you but let me just say your videos helped a ton. Ive been having some heart problems that are getting better but ive not been able to workout here lately but im trying to learn the handstand pushup and muscle up right now and i was getting closer and closer every time. I can now hold a handstand for a few seconds. But i figured id make a comment to thank you for the great videos bc you have definetly helped me.

This came out at a great time, I just switched from your weight to hybrid training routine, and figured out I can't hold my body weight for a handstand lol. Will definitely look into lower progressions!

Ive lost 70lbs since ive started calisthenics.. part of that inspiration came from this channel. Just recently, I've started implementing weight training as well, but the motivation started slowly dipping. A good rule is to create small goals to keep yourself going. Dont instantly go for a muscleup, try mastering lower progressions first before bringing yourself down

Hi colin, nice video. Forgive me for asking a question that is not the topics of this video, but i wanted to know something. How often you ate carbs like rice ? Do you eat it at night ? Or just before your workout ? Also is it fine to have a rest week at the end of the month. Because my strenght training taxed my soulder pretty hard.
@colinmurrayYT
6 ай бұрын
Thanks, as for carbs I don’t overthink it too much I eat them throughout the day but I try to eat mostly high protein stuff. And take rest if you need it otherwise just train lighter until your shoulder heals up. However, a week off every month probably isn’t necessary You can train other stuff like run or basketball instead if it hurts.

My bro literally looks like a Greek god to be honest
The term doesn't come from the ancient greeks, some modern guy slapped 2 greek words together and that's what we call it today, it's sort of how some US cities are named after ancient romans and greeks, like Cincinnati (Cincinnatus), even though Cincinnati's name is in a sense roman, it does not mean the city itself is roman, same thing with calisthenics, the word may sound ancient but it is actually not. Not trying to be pedantic here, this was a nice video.
