Just recently I started doing the working routine from one of your videos, and it's so helpful to have some sort of guide for what exercises I can do at home. I can definitely not do as many reps and sets as recommended in the routine yet, but one day I will get there! I haven't worked out in a long time so I'm not surprised that my muscles are crying right now, but they will get used to it lol. Thank you for encouraging and helping people learn how to become stronger!

Just recently, I've started implementing weight training as well, but the motivation started slowly dipping. A good rule is to create small goals to keep yourself going. Dont instantly go for a muscleup, try mastering lower progressions first before bringing yourself down

Or just before your workout ? Also is it fine to have a rest week at the end of the month. Because my strenght training taxed my soulder pretty hard.

  • @colinmurrayYT

Thanks, as for carbs I don’t overthink it too much I eat them throughout the day but I try to eat mostly high protein stuff. And take rest if you need it otherwise just train lighter until your shoulder heals up. However, a week off every month probably isn’t necessary You can train other stuff like run or basketball instead if it hurts.

The term doesn't come from the ancient greeks, some modern guy slapped 2 greek words together and that's what we call it today, it's sort of how some US cities are named after ancient romans and greeks, like Cincinnati (Cincinnatus), even though Cincinnati's name is in a sense roman, it does not mean the city itself is roman, same thing with calisthenics, the word may sound ancient but it is actually not. Not trying to be pedantic here, this was a nice video.
