Very cool! I’ve thought about trying to start a local running group here in Montgomery, but I’m more of a loaner that avoids people. Lol.

Do it! I never really was a social butterfly before and I'm still not but starting the running group got me out of my shell a little. Although when I'm at the gym and I see someone I know I will avoid them like the plague. I lift alone.

That's awesome. Quite the successful group too! Those are some of the best rewards for running, more so than race results.

Great story! On October 25th I started a group run in the Southwest side of Chicago. It's called West Lawn Runners and the reason for the name is we live in West Lawn. 2 miles east from Midway airport. Would like to follow your group on Facebook. Our Facebook page is easy to find... West Lawn Runners. Wish you much more success! My name is Mario.

Hey I took a look at your channel. Looks like you have some good content and quite the active following. Keep doing what you are doing. The only thing that you might want to change up is your video length time. KZread really cares about view time and 2 minute videos won't get much view time. Just make it interesting so the viewer watches most of it. I have the same issue too. Happ running.

Any running stores? Usually they will have running groups. I don't think 16 is too young to start running. We have a 13 y/o running with us 2x a week and even younger kids too. Check out some of my other videos on how to start running. Subscribe if you'd like to.

@@nathantrickshot if you have the time and willingness to start one. Do it! Maybe grab some friends from school and set up a time and start running. Start a page on fb so the public can see. Tag yourself and friends so other runners might see that too. My groups build up was slow so don't expect many to come the first 30 runs but people will come. Good luck

Hey I am actually starting a running group my self how do you deal with the pace difference between the runners?

We have a set route and it's usually an out and back which is about 4 miles. We congregate at the beginning and go off on out runs and come back. Usually the faster people will be done first and then we all just wait until the last runner comes in. Usually for new to the group runners I'll go out and run with them to show them the route. Check out some of my other vids where I run 5ks to ultramarathons. Subscribe if you want to follow along with my journey Good luck with your group.

Just make a Facebook page and be consistent. If you think a million people will show up to your first run you will be sadly mistaken

Key points 1. Just start 2. Be consistent with weekly runs 3. Be patient as you won't be successful right away.
