Everything she said is fact. I am a 60 year young woman working on my second act because I finally encountered Chalene. I was making excuses, had no idea where to start, and worst of all, believed I was too old. One thing I will also stress: change your CHOICES, change your REALITY. I chose to make these changes and shifted my entire reality. So thanks to Chalene! Go for it, ladies and gents!

I love these 2.0 episodes of the department and they've been so inspirational in helping me to continue to build up my personal brand. I'm a 46 year old woman who has decided to embrace ALL of who I am. I show up in spaces where I stand in constant judgement however my goal is to make a way for the "mature" woman, the tired wife, and the perfectly imperfect woman who is sick of living in the shadows of her titles. THANK YOU GUYS!!!

She is 100% correct about today’s audience preferring to have REAL CONNECTION and it’s hard to do that when you have to scroll every 15 seconds or so. I make an effort to stay updated on content trends, and that’s a significant one in 2024. Relatability is the key to social media scalability. Chalene dropped a couple of bars in this and that was my version of one 😂

Thank you for all the information in this video. Just an observation .... many of us in middle age (or the 2.0 stage in our life) aren't financially set. Some have been very successful at some point and lost it all. Some have struggled throughout their life. I believe that there may even be more value from those who have had set backs and have had to start over. Also encouraging the 2.0s that may currently be struggling is of huge value. I am personally having to start over and its been quite a struggle despite the fact that I feel I have so much to offer, I just don't even know where to begin. Pick a niche... but Chalene is spot on when she emphasizes how hard that is as we get older.

I needed this today! I’m 52 and planning a KZread channel and have been a big chicken because I don’t like how I look on Video! I do know people really gravitate towards authenticity, vulnerability and relatability tho. I’ve got all that going for me-lol! Thanks for such great interview ❤

I totally feel you! I just posted about 25 videos, and I’m planning to continue to post once a week. I produced a Holistic trauma, healing card deck, and I’ll be posting videos on each of the 88 cards to help people heal from trauma. My insecurity is always being 52 years old and wanting to look good on camera ….tryin not compare with the young hotties!

@@HolisticTraumaTherapy it’s good to remember even the young hotties have so much pressure to look perfect-more than we do! When they see older women showing confidence (even with imperfections) it is so encouraging to them too-we all need to see more women being comfortable and authentic as they are. (lol-still trying to live that out myself-but I know it’s true!) Younger women have insecurities too-but these days they are more skilled at “airbrushing” than our generation -so they struggle with self acceptance too. 😉 We all need role models to be brave in this way.

@@kjarneson655 thank you! We are all in this together to create a world that we want to see & not the reflection of the world that we were conditioned by. Amen to what you’re sharing with me.
