Being a KZreadr is like running a business. You give people what they want, and they reward you with their attention, resulting in income. Of course, it is tough to start and grow to the point you are monetized (but with a bit of Famester everything is possible. It's especially good for beginners and new content creators).

There is no “problem” with KZread, it's just a personalized content delivery system driven by algorithms. Creativity and monetization are not mutually exclusive, as a matter of fact the relationship between the two is symbiotic. The more resources creators have, the easier it becomes to bring their visions to life.

​@@lvytncreativethat's a great way to look at it. I always say people shouldn't call themselves "KZreadrs" KZread is a platform to upload videos. Steven Spielberg wouldn't call himself a "Netflixer" just because his movies get uploaded on the platform.

How important is quality editing when starting out on KZread? One of the things that I feel that is holding me back from embarking on the journey is my inexperience with editing videos. I noticed that I tend to gravitate towards videos that are presented in a seemingly organized manner where the content just flows. I know that not all consumers are created equal, but I fear that my videos may be too amateur compared to others.

Lean in to your demographic because it’s fast growing. Our cultural background is the secret sauce. Think about where your grandma came from and tell her anecdotes relative to what you’re doing in your field. Stay in one niche. Don’t jump around. Use it in real time! Tell folks about it in person and use it as a resume. Think about the advice ppl ask you for and put a video of it up, and put links in the description. Also, the best way to make money nowadays? Don’t sell. Give value for free.

Tap into what you have a passion for, what your going to be the most consistent in, and whatever is most profitable. Your passion will lead you past that breaking point, and will help you with your consistency. And choosing a niche or a field that is most profitable right now in today’s world you can lose. I'm ten years younger and discovering what I already knew but forgot... Working for a corporation is a recipe for insignificance and forever being broke and I'm tired of it. I've been getting emails here and there to 'collaborate' with the companies, but in all honesty, sometimes it's not even getting products, sometimes they just offer you a discount to offer your viewers, and nothing more... it's getting even worse than when I thought that just getting a product to review wasn't enough to justify making a video which takes days to plan, produce, then edit, create thumbnail (s), promote and all you get is Zip other than maybe the $1 you got with the few views I get... I'm on the DIY world video space, so I still haven't thought what exactly I can charge for ? Don't know if consulting would work out - I left a 3/4 of the way Kitchen renovation guide, but not feeling confident enough to launch it out to the world... HELP!

Thank you for this helpful information. Where is the best place to sell e- downloads? I tried etsy for a little while, but their fees are high, and i didn't even break even on the costs of the few sales I made. Do i have to be monitized to sell e- products or any products directly under my videos? I hope to understand this all one day before I do give up. I have been at it 4 years and continue to learn a lot. However, I haven't made money yet, even though I have Amazon affiliate links. Also, how do I figure out SEO? If you only have a phone use it, if you have a poor performance computer no problem, go with what you want, believe in your dream until it becomes reality

My question is based on the removal of third-party cookies and how that will affect affiliate programs significantly. I know the solution for organizations is to use serverside and first-party tracking but that takes time to initiate. Any thoughts about this change? Thx in advance
