just made tamales my first time and my mother in law 80 years old using a spoon to spread ..i tried and tried she a master with the spoon… had to look it up for easier way

@@MexicanMadeMeatless well now that you mention it and I have you here lol, what do you recommend if I don't have enough tamales to fill the steamer pot? I tried using my crockpot and the tamales are too tall for it, now I'm using a tall steamer pot that's about half filled 😳 Thank you for your help and time!

Sure, happy to help! :) So you can use a tall pot and a steamer rack or steamer basket. Another option is an Instant Pot, they are great for smaller batches of tamales. If neither of these two options work 😅 then you can fill the empty space with a bowl to help the tamales stay upright, and also stuff some extra husks in there to help out.
