I've been sprayed for this amazing skater before, I dodged the spray and went back into the area and it was still snowing. I aspire to be that good at spraying.

As an ice maintenance guy...I hate you for those gouges. That crap takes a while to fix...

i was always trying to get higher sprays when i used to ice skate as a teenager, i used to dig my toe in at the last part of the slide to kick the ice up higher. this was on a indoor curling rink which had slightly softer ice than the hockey rink ( i think they added some sort of chemical to the ice). it would spray up over head height!

You don't add anything to the water, it's about the temperature you keep it at and that's controlled by the temp you keep your sub floor at (among other things). I've been an ice maintenance guy for about two years so that's my understanding of it, though I could be off.

@@lokei1326 ice tech and rink manager for 10 years here. Yup you're right. Temp and humidity is the only difference between soft and hard ice

Quick unexpected stops are WAY more important!! If you can do that you can spray high and anywhere. Good I miss skating on lakes.

How the heck do you have frozen lakes in Hungary :D I am your northern neighbour from Slovakia yet last winters lakes get ideally frozen only for 2-3 days per winter :-/ Even now the weather is way above the 0°C. Hopefully January will be better! Best videos though bro :)

No.

Great stops, maybe some people at the public skate might not like you

You can spray up to 4 meters high if you push AND pull back your front foot thus acting like an axe.

As a long time skater I can tell you that if you try to imitate this guy you might end up breaking your ankles....

Try evening your weight on that foot, it happens to me occasionally and it only happens when my weight is shifted on that foot (ik that it’s been a year but if your still wondering)
