ℹ️ Additional information
I also show you how to "glue" together many pieces of video to create a single video that you can then slow down or speed up as one group. Sometimes you need to Speed Up video way past 400% - so I show you my method for achieving that.

This has just showed me how to sort out a horrible rapid pan and zoom I have in the middle of an otherwise good clip. I am watching this more than two and ahalf years after you made it and it is still an education! Someone on here described your voice as calm and helpful and I agree. A great teacher. Thank youI hope you realise this is making a difference.

This has been the most helpful tutorial I've seen for Sony Movie Studio so far! One thing another youtuber said which helped me out hope it does for you too and thats when you in speed it up 400% or 4x and then 2x like in this video that is like speeding up the original video 8x not 6x like you might think. In summary multiply how fast you're speeding your video up if you want to achieve a specific playback rate. Woo convolutedness!

Great one! I couldn't have thought about rendering first and then slowing once again myself! But what if I don't have an audio track for my clip, is their any way to see the percentage of the speed you've got in this tuto? I used the "active take information", but it doesn't seem to show the percentage unless you have an audio track grouped to your video clip...

Thanks for the vidoes! With GoPro cameras, you can now shoot upt to 240 FPS in WVGA...and up to 120 FPS at 720p. I haven't done this yet, but plan to. If a 120 FPS video is used (in Platinum 12)...and slowed to 25%...do you know if it will use every frame and play back at 30 FPS...or is it limited to using only 30 FPS of the source video...and just plays those back at 25%? Sorry if this does not make any sense.

Thanks for the great video, Movie Studio Zen. I am noticing that when I render a sped-up video, no matter what the settings are, I am getting multiple frames overlapping. For example, a 400 percent sped-up video doesn't just drop 3 out of 4 frames. It superimposes 4 frames on top of each other. This produces a wonky effect. Any way to turn this off?
