Aww, don't bash him. He's cute :D I suppose English is his native language and Croatian is his other one - the pronounciation was incorrect (or awkward more likely) for many of the words, but still quite good for a non-native speaker.

That wasn't at all some ignorant racist bullshit that you've convinced yourself of to make you feel better :) you're a really cool and likeable person! News flash jack ass I speak fluent spanish because I've had a great education system through out my life. At least this kid is making an effort and trying to learn a language other than his own, which is why I'm here too! There is no practical reason why I would ever need to speak it because unlike in Europe the US doesn't have many bordering countries and there is no need to communicate with foreigners on a regular basis. That is the only reason that many Europeans learn to speak in a number of tongues. Also English is one of the hardest languages to learn, so before you insult our education system, take a look at yours because you've gotten absolutely zero facts correct.

looking down at the comments and fuming at the butthurt Croatians. so what if he lost the accent? he pronounced most of the things very well. there are some phonetic changes in some words but I think he just needs some confidence while articulating the words. btw. I'm Croatian and I approve of this video
@banako420

He moved away probably, of course his accent is going to change. It's not like Croats speak perfect English.
I'm Croatian and there are all types of people 'looks'. Also there are several theories of Croat Origins most of which are not Slavic. So a 'Slavic Look' is irrelevant. Just because one speaks a certain language family doesn't not mean they of that Slavic-'ethnic' group. Do a little research. He's having fun and is humorous, give him a break.

I like how you assume that I must be Lithuanian. Plus, pretend as if it was in my power or the power of any person from today how a language was formed historically. There are bound to be similarities due to the fact that Baltic and Slavic are sister language families. By the way, it is spelled "ranka" in Lithuanian.

can you make some more of these videos please. this is the funnest way i have found to learn Croatian
If you are Croatian why are you watching this video? Lol just chill guys. Jebote daj se smirite u komentarima , lik je htio napraviti zanimljivi video za youtube a vi ga napadate zbog njegovog naglaska
i know most of the greetings in Croatian. Croatian is actually pretty easy for me my boyfriend is Croatian and he always tells me if im saying something wrong so i know for next time and you have helped me allot hvala!!
For those people saying '' I am Croatian, you are not'' ''You'r accent is bad'' This guy is born in Croatia but mainly speak English, he is not using Croatian that much, so his accent just goes worse and worse, I know it because I am born in Serbia and now i live in England.
My family is from Croatia but I was brought up in America. From a young age I was enrolled in the American education system whilst learning the Croatian language and customs at home. I think it's fairly ignorant to subject strangers to criticism solely based on where they are from. It's much wiser to take pride in your homeland and respect that others will do the same.
I think he's a Croatian, but his parents didn't speak some croatian with him. :P
Now I see why Croatian is so hard for other people that don't speak it! I think it's called in English... um... I don't know how, but you can't say ''To je moj banana.'' You have to say ''To je mojA bananA.''
Love the video. My kids got motivated to study Croatian, because they think this is a fun and cool video! Thank you :)

( THAT IS REAL FACTS ) 1995. CROATIANS ARMY carried out the ethnic cleansing of SERBS innocent unarmed people , more than 220 000 people deported and was forced out of their homes ! CROATIA = GERMAN --- genocidal people ! These are the real facts, you can not escape from truth ! Remember that !

He might be croatian living in the US. He has sometimes the US accent while speaking. I have sometimes the german accent mixed in croatian, but it improved luckily. German accent in croatian sounds shitty.

Yooooooooooo this guy is awsome im from cro but i am amused by this video
Jesi ti stvarno iz Zagreba, pitam to jer je tvoj engleski naglasak savršen,jesi živio u Americi ili negdje gdje se govori engleski ili?
Hey great video! Insightful and funny too :) Croatia is a beautiful country. I'm wondering what the song was from 3:30 to 4:53?
Ahhh, you can hear from the accent that the kid is from diaspora. Second generation is my estimation. Considering how you mispronounce the R and the H my guess is . . . Australia, maaaaybe USA, but I'm sticking with Australia. And your family is from north of Croatia I think, or central Croatia, but tilting thoward the north. Deffinetley not a Serb, but deffinetley diaspora.
My native language is Croatian, but since I am fluent in German I would say that Croatian has more grammatical rules then German but if you want to just speak language it is much easier to speak Croatian, because it is creative and emotional. For example with SAME words you can say same meaning of sentences but different emotional meaning. Tonight I'm going to play football with friends. Večeras idem igrati nogomet s prijateljima. (most usual and correct form in written Croatian) It is a emotionally neutral sentence, but let's express this sentence with different position of words. Večeras s prijateljima idem igrati nogomet (ohhh I have a plan,I can not do anything else.I am too excited) S prijateljima idem igrati nogomet večeras. (I have idea. I know with whom I'm going to play football, :D) S prijateljima večeras idem igrati nogomet. (I have idea. I know with whom I'm going to play football and when, now I have a plan :D) Idem igrati nogomet s prijateljima večeras. (I am not too excited, if you give me good reason I will switch term.) So this is beauty of Croatian, maybe this is the reason why we are very social and why is normal to be in cafe with friends every day. Your accent is different but we love strangers who want to learn Croatian, so in Croatia (at least Zagreb) no one will look at you strange instead one will help you and support you. btw. "televizija" is name for cluster of television programs, and "televizor" is device. If you are watching "televizija" you are normal, but if you are watching "televizor" something is wrong with you :D
you're awesome :D helped alot. sladak si :3
Thanks bro :D
Wow. You read that from a book?
Pretty good job... Keep it up... I am sure you will help some people who want to learn basic Croatian... Do not mind the negative coments... Those who post them have no guts to do something worthwhile themselves... Good luck... Don't quit...
Where are you from in croatia? i sounds like Zagorje
Love all the funny comments, a ti Mali zafrikavaš, baš je sladak
