This is a really helpful resource for people looking to get the journal. I am not saying that you shouldn't do this glitch, however, the experience you get when you sail across the seas trying to find other ships to work together with is truly amazing. Once you do find enough other players, the ceremony is amazing and truly something to experience. If possible, I would try and do the ceremony with other players but this glitch is always here.

fun and harmless - nice vid - if anyone trying to do glitterbeard for real, start by getting two galleons on the same server then invite people from discord. last I checked you could get two boats on the same server by matching in HG then hard quit and sink one boat, rejoin

hey, I have not tried the hourglass method (as I don't have friends that want to be recorded🤡)... i have done the reaper flag method of leavening and joining servers till you find your buddy... toke me about an hour to do sometimes shouter. 🙃

Cool lil glitch, I'm sure it will b patched b4 too long but tbh it's kinda harmless as long as it don't unlock anything in game like titles or anything to due with glitterbeards commendations within the game then no harm in someone doin this. Though u could really troll someone if u knew they were goin to do glitterbeards lol

Stools are on medium to large size island I found mine at lone cove near the Npc on the beach.

Just so everyone knows you have to sit on the chair the direction you want to be pushed out of

Thats the game trying to keep you from getting stuck it happens to me a lot too i find it easy to go next to the harpoon and jump then grab it... if that's the part that teleport you or if you're in the wall then you have to look down the steps where there's barely any wall to your right and hold/moving forwards and left then hop off the stool. I hope this helps.

I’m a noob and some dudes pulled up on me and asked me to help them do it for real. I had no clue I just agreed and boom, got a glitter beard lol.

Hey, that really blows ☹ doing the ritual is a little bit of a prosses everyone has to have an instrument's (2 of each) and stand in a certain spot around the tree (N, NE, E, ES...ect)and play in a certain order to have it start.

North/South is Hurdy Gurdy... East/West is Banjo... Southwest/Northeast is Drum... Northwest/Southeast is Accordion.... After the sun fully sets, you'll have 30 sec to be in the correct order and start playing the BECALMED melody keep playing if done right the bottles on the tree will start glowing DO NOT stop in till the branches of the tree STOP glowing then you can stop and look at the door.

I know I need to do this glitterbeard hideout is gonna be a pain since other players will just attack 1st listen later

Yes, if the server is buggy, you will have to leave the game and start a new session you will be on a new server.

I tried it the normal way and the second galleon killed me and my team betrayed me😢

I'm sorry to hear that... If you're playing on console, there's a setting to have you sail with other's console with controller. IT'S NOT guaranteed but it will help put you on a more even playing field and remove a lot of the toxic players. 😁 hope this helps!

Any random small island usually has a rowie, or shipwreck bay typically has them

As soon as the seat touched the door, I blacked out. Tried again but any time I sit it blacks out. I moved the row boat too and tried 4 different times, and it still blacks out. I think this video's fake. Seen an other comment the same thing.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time with it even after i set everything up it still takes me a couple of tries you have to hop on the stool before it gets too close to the door. it is a glitch it's not supposed to happen. I even had my friend join me and do it

it can take quite long but eventually you‘ll find the right spot to make it work.

DONT DO IT SOLO i tried doing the glitch it didnt work for me so i tried got 5 ships and the best expirience of my life!
