You should still get 2-3 chest from a fleet on safer seas, I use saferseas because the fleets are always half way done and the sloops are what you need

I kept myself from being too spoiled, only seeing occasional screenshots, until I finally got to experience it for myself. It's very beautiful and really tugs at the heartstrings. Definitely a thing worth doing

It really is. When I was a fairly new pirate, I merged into an accidental server alliance full of reapers. One came to us(me and a random guy I found on the sea who joined my boat) and asked us to join. We did FotD like 7 times and then did glitterbeard after. It was so in-line with what had happened that night a different experience to what I was used to. Definitely my most memorable experience in SoT and is a big part of why I fell in love with the game. I used to want pve servers back then and it made me realize that it would've meant nothing if it could happen at any time. The fact it was a rare experience is what made it special!

The 100 vaults to this day is the longest grind I've done, good luck to anyone doing it I think I'd rather get all my hourglass levels all over again

I did it while the gold hoarder glitch was around so I probably got it donr in like 6 hours or smth

glider beard is by far the most amazing quest in this game imo. the reward is also pretty cool

I’m so incredibly glad to be done with my barnacle chest grind, the weapons are by far my favorite part and are well worth the grind.

All the party boat and midnight blade stuff. They’re all really solid cosmetics and relatively obtainable as long as you have 1 friendly encounter with another crew. It also just feels good to check each commendation off the list. It was my first set to complete too😂

I love my barnacle stuff and i never leave behind a barnacle chest. Fortunately i love going after skelly ships and completed this grind while you could still have 3 waves of 2 skellies by fleet solo. Scooping loot the old way while 2 aimbot gallies hammer at you was for sure a formative expérience x)

Imo, the easiest way to grind barnacle chests is the map board. Around like 1/3 of the chests i get from it are barnacled lol

Ruby stinger cutlass I absolutely love and idk why i'm so happy that I got it during the season

As someone who has done the glitterbeard hideout like ten times now I still appreciate it. There is something truly magical about it.

Just got my 100 vaults done this week. So glad to have that behind me but now I have my new favorite sails from it

I did not know there was an ashen winds sails, it perfectly fits my ship. I pray that the next boat you tuck on is on a gilded athena voyage

been a couple years but im around half way to the bristling barnacle set one of my fav sets in the game

I’m partial to the Magpie’s Wing sails because I think they look nice and I use them on my main sloop

I’m proud to say I actually have a lot of the cosmetics in this vid like glitter beard and the bristling barnacle set, I personally like to pair it with the golden barnacle cannons which can be bought for dabloons in the shipwright

Wish we got more recolors of the ruby stinger cutlass, which is also a recolor but still, it’s so beautiful.

Love this. Usually these videos are rubbing in what you can’t get.

I have some bad news for you... there's an opposite video in the works...

A gold and white recolor of the Ferryman figure head would go hard

Never looked back since I earned the barnacle set for my sloop

I'm honestly wanting some of the cosmetics that we have seen but aren't released. Like the original red/white/gold sovereign ship set, the green and blue sea serpent ship set, and a bunch of other barred cosmetics.

Dude I’m so thankful I got the ghost captain skulls when the diving to forts first started. You could literally get them in 10 ish minutes when it came out but I heard that patched it.

The new version of the flame heart event is called the Haunting event by the way

You know how they did the monkey island memento spots I’d love to see those throughout the entire map and have them in places from the trailers or cinematics they release and you can link a commendation to it and maybe a certain cosmetic set maybe rare themed with the logo idk or camera themed I guess I think that would be a nice thing to do I mean you could to the ghost thing from monkey island too like playing a bit of the trailer as a vision

Are the various bits of the Ashen Dragon Set still available? Ya know the things you get for opening Ashen Chests and turning the Tomes you find within. I got SOME of them a few years back and really want to complete the set.

The moment I completed the Glitterbeard ritual with randoms was probably the most beautiful moment in my gaming years :(

I grinded ancient coins to get the Flying dutchman figurehead, and now I really gotta get the silent barnacle thing to "complete" the set

I wish they had a curse that happened to your pirate that sticks with you because of something you did in the season, and then you have to do another quest to heal it for the next season. Like partially turning into a skeleton like Tanya. A curse that wasn’t merely a cosmetic that you equip.

Eh, considering the only real form of progression in this game is cosmetics, it would kinda suck to be stuck with a curse that potentially detracts from or ruins your fashion.

I'd already gotten the Silent and Bristling Barnacle but recently, I had achieves Legend of the Sea of Thieves (sink 500 skelly ships as a Pirate Legend) and got the sick title and Legendary Cannons as a reward, surprised you didn't include the cannons as the result of this agonizing grind! :,D I posted a video of both to my YT page if anyone's curious, happy travels, Pirates!

Here's a little known tip about insider, it's not always capped at one hour per week. Sometimes you can get it twice in one week if there are multiple updates within that week.

Missed the ferry of the damned figurehead during season 3. I have 2,300 doubloons so far and almost there. Just need to grind skeleton fleets.

I read all the glitterbeard journals but never got the cannon flare

For sunken kingdom you can just dive to the voyage now I think, no need for all 30 journals anymore

i find the gold hoarder curse a really grindy but worthwhile curse. By exploiting the checkpoints, you can steamroll it in as little as an hour. before then it was WAY more tedious

let's not forget the ashen dragon cosmetics that you can earn from selling ashen tomes and the like, i myself have the entire ashen dragon set on my sloop called "ashen winds"

You should've mentioned the pvp cirses and the golden variants

absolutally despise Rare for brringing back the fort of the damned figurehead for people to buy with dubloons when it was such a grind to get before, and was actually a rare thing to own.

I grinded the gold curse solo. Took me abt 80 hours to accomplish

Is the borderlands set still available? I just got into the game. But the event was held in 2021..

I remember getting the gooner set with my boys in season 1, good ol times. Now we're edgemaxxing everywhere in sea of thieves.

Curse of Sunken Sorrow does not require you to find all journals anymore. I think it becomes available to vote a soon as you get 1 of the sunken kingdom commendations.

I thought fishing was bad until i started doing it for the title. Its not bad at all compared to getting the gold animal sails. So many missing keys and ships!

How is that spyglass not practical the one you get from crooked masts I love it the skull helps you to see through the fog sorry it's the truth it says on it aswell that you don't have to look at what it's showing, awesome only thing is every time I die it changes my spyglass back to the wild 🌹 one you should be able to save cosmetics cause every time there is events sometimes there is a glitch where your clothes aren't on and your emotes are gone so you have to go through it all again your title and stuff it's a joke sorry for the long sentence 😁

They do bring back some of them, but it's sort of a toss up. Most of the plunder pass stuff will come back eventually, but as for other time limited sets you kinda just have to pray lmao

Maybe you can use the spyglass for something....

Don't bother with the stone curse, it's NOT worth it. You just look absolutely pale, can somewhat work with specific cosmetics (Looks good with the Sawbones cosmetics) maybe if the tattoos stayed I'd like it a lot more...

i did the legend of glitterbeard a little while back, and it was truly amazing. it can be a bit of a pain to do, because everyone is so quick to fight (had a ship try to sink the rest of the alliance for a chest of fortune before we headed to plunder valley, we kicked his ass and fortunately we were able to find another sloop who was willing to help), but at the start, i had goosebumps, and at the end, i had a tear in my eye. and i implore all who havent done it yet: do not do it in a preemptive alliance server. let it happen naturally. it might take you longer to do it, but itll be so much more meaningful

It feels so shitty that they brought back all those exclusive season pass items. They used to be a way of showing off how long you've been playing. Now its just a doubloon farm :(

I don't mind them bringing stuff back, but it should require commendations or some sort of actual achievement, rather than just being buyable. Bringing cosmetics back is one thing, but having them be easier to get for new people than they were for the original ones who got it is kinda annoying.

I still think this is bogus for the people who were THERE to get this stuff they should have the right to be the only ones to have it i cant tell you jow many things i spent many hours getting and now you can just buy them....i personally dont think its right
